I ordered the seafood sampler and paid extra for oysters. The crab cake was the first thing I tried and was room temperature. The fish was tried next and was barely warm. Oysters and shrimp were very. I enjoyed the jalapeño hush puppies as well. However, I was disappointed in the overall meal.

Superb food and great service. We had a dozen baked oysters sampler platter and the oysters were on the smaller side so the sweet waitress brought us one extra of each kind. I got the crab claws sauteed and they were absolutely fantastic! My husband and I love this place for date night!

First time visit on a date. No crowd at all. It was couple’s night…not really but it was only 3 other seated tables and they were couples/date. The ambience very nice, jazz melody romantic, and our server Marcella was super kind. When my entree arrived, our serversaid, here you go Madame’. Bayou & Creole southern flare, it was the experience for me☺️The host and all other staff were very nice too. Awesome first-time experience!I actually like small crowd it added more to the experience, seemingly.Oh my goodness…the entree’s were flavorful. Bisque and gumbo yummy.If you don’t like spice make sure you tell them to hold the spice.I felt the Louisiana vibe??️

Took my mom tonight for her 72nd birthday… I have eaten here several times, but my mom had only been one time… Food, atmosphere and service was top-tier… Our waitress was Casey and she was perfect… We had oysters Rockefeller and Royal Reds as an appetizer… I had the pecan crusted fish and my mom had the almond crusted chicken… Salads and asparagus were also delicious… Margaritas did not disappoint…all the staff was very friendly …Amazing experience. Thank you so much.

It was a decent experience, not a great one. We narrowly missed the almost walk right in time and wound up waiting about 30 mins, in a nice outside area. We were seated and served our drinks right away, but made the mistake of asking for another minute to order, and it took a while for the server to come back, which is typical of nearly restaurant.The fried shrimp and fried okra ($23.99)were fine, but the fries on another's meal were warm at best. Unfortunately, another order with the shrimp pasta was slightly less than warm. Serving size was appropriate. Salads were fresh and nice.Admitted pet peeve: My tea glass sat empty much longer than I liked, and we asked for and never received an extra cup of ice as the tea had virtually no ice.We found the seating along the wall a little cool even for thin long sleeves, the middle aisle might've been just right.It's a popular place, they're obviously doing something right, so I'd try it again. But another middling experience like this trip and I'd be done with em.

Came in and saw the hostess, asked for a high chair and she said she would get us one and to just wait a minute.Sat at the front for over 30 minutes while they kept seating people and every time we said something we were just told to wait.After about 40 minutes of watching people eat and leave, that came in after us, we left.

Food is good. Slow service every time. Especially from the bar. We have been several times with nothing changing.We go to taco Mac also and it’s the same situation. Slow service, especially drinks, but food is usually at least an 8/10.

This is a hidden gem for many reasons. The food is very good. The drinks are very good. The atmosphere and vibe are great. Upscale feel with very reasonable prices. Under $40 for the ribeye and under $40 for the filet. Plenty of seafood options that are amazing dishes. I love this place and will be back regularly!
