“Cute little place. We stopped by for lunch. Found several gluten free options, settled on a chicken feta rice dish that was good. I got fruit on side and it was very fresh and tasty, my kids would definitely approve the fruit (grapes, oranges, apples). Very family friendly! They also had casseroles and things to go. “Gotta say a big thank you to Jim ‘n Nick’s BBQ in Athens, GA. I drove through there, hoping to get the awesome sounding baked potato that is described on their menu. After ordering my kiddo’s chicken fingers, I asked for the potato only to be told they had run out of them for the night. 😞 when I pulled up to pick up our food,  the chef (Matt) had found out that I had really wanted a potato and so he gave me one for free. That makes potato might’ve been part of his employee meal he was taking home. I don’t know but that gentleman made my night.  by the way, the potato is very good, but the service was even better!“

“generally we had a good experience. food was good. the new York strip steak was surprisingly good, cooked right, juicy and well seasoned. Madison was terrific service wise. I did note a number of deficiencies at the management level. we had to wait about 10 min. for my wife's decaf coffee, none was ready. also had to wait until almost the end of our dinner for biscuits, none were ready on time. I was very disappointed that the only sugar free drink options were Coke Zero and sugar free Coke. there were sprite and Dr. Pepper available, but not sugar free. used to have sugar free bottled root beer, but no longer. also used to have NSA apple pie, but no longer and no other options. all of these things mean a lot to a diabetic. Madison tried her best and did great, especially when my Coke Zero had a strange taste to it, she got me a sugar free right away. CB has succeeded in removing a lot of the reasons I ate there. you'll always have my wife because of the biscuits, unless your kitchen organizer doesn't have them on hand.“
