“We started going to Licken Good Donut over two years ago. We've been to four different ones. The one in Alexandria was the first one we tried. It is rather disappointing that the price of the donuts have gone up, but the size has diminished to about 75%. It appears that this has happened only in Alexandria whereas Centre and Fort Payne continue to offer the same size.”

“The sandwiches are average Subway sandwiches— if you order them in person, they make them exactly the way you want them.the employees are fantastic. I’ve never had a bad experience with anyone who works there. They always go out of their way and are so friendly and helpful. The store is always very clean as well.”

“Me and the wife stopped there when we left our daughter’s house heading home. Man they have come out with a rib sandwich that is awesome. And I don’t know why, but I always loved that Mc rib sandwich with extra onions and pickles from McDonald’s. Oh man, that’s some good stuff right there. Like I said, I don’t know why I like them because I know it’s processed meat, but it’s still good. but let me tell y’all something, Jack’s has come out with the same sandwich and that restaurant right there, them people know how to hook it up. I should’ve got pictures of it, but I asked to buy one of their rib sandwiches with extra onions and pickles and they hooked me up. I’m telling y’all go try that rib sandwich from Jack’s, and Jack’s don’t make this make this rib sandwich seasonal like McDonald’s does. That thing needs to be there year-round. That’s my opinion. I hope y’all enjoy it, and for the ones that don’t you know you can take a long walk off a short bridge.”

“I’ve had lunch at Angel Cakes Creamery twice lately. Both times the food was delicious. I’ve had the bacon cheeseburger and a chicken cordon bleu sandwich. Ordered onion rings both times. They are delicious, so crunchy and not greasy at all. They have a large menu and the food is cooked after you order. Although, I haven’t tried it, they have hand dipped ice cream with a variety of delicious sounding flavors. I highly recommend that you give this restaurant a try. You won’t be sorry. It’s located on Blue Mountain Road on North Quintard.”

“Stopped for dinner last night. Best ribs I e ever had. Falling off the bone. The flavor of the rub was so good I barely touched the sauce. I did dip some ribs and some hush puppies in the hot sauce. That was great too. Brodie did a great job keeping drinks topped off and checking on us. Victoria was very friendly from the time we first walked in until it was time to leave. Met the owners as well. This Yankee says they are a phenomenal representation of true southern hospitality. PS get the pork rinds PSS. Peanut Butter Pie!!!”

“This place has quickly become my new obsession. The iced Pot Ol Gold latte with butterscotch cold foam is out of this world and I’ll be crushed when it’s gone since it is seasonal! Scooter’s blows Starbucks out of the water. I hardly ever leave reviews, but this location doesn’t just whip up delicious drinks. Every time I have stopped by, the service has been exceptional! Every single employee has been so kind and it literally makes your day to see such joy and hard work come out of this building. It’s such a breath of fresh air! “I came to Tulip Cafe with my family, and we had an amazing experience! The waffles were fresh, warm, and absolutely delicious. The coffee was excellent, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming,they made us feel right at home.
