Mildred's is a solid home-style buffet. Food is good and there is plenty of it. Prices are quite fair. Worth a visit on those days when you have a very healthy appetite or you're just not sure what you are in the mood for.Kid-friendliness: Good for families, but young kids are not allowed to serve themselves off of the buffet. Parents, please prepare your youngsters' plates for them.
This place is so special. It is a southern buffet and every time I go it is packed. It is so inviting for families young and old; it doesn't matter what you look like everyone is family in this restaurant. The food is hot and delicious. The rolls are to die for. you need to try this place if you live in North AL. some of the smaller kids eat free too! Service is top notch and the fried chicken speaks for itself-- all at a reasonable price.
