La Plaza Bonita Delicious Mexican Food

We unfortunately ate here for the last night of our family lake trip. Here are some of the cons:

-my brother had to finish cooking his own shrimp with the residual heat from his fajita pan.
-4 of 11 orders were wrong when food arrived
-most of the wait staff hid in the bathrooms, instead of doing their jobs. Frustrating when we actually needed to use the restroom ourselves and when we needed to be served or when any number of the trashed tables around us could have been cleared.
-food took too long to come out. We were one of maybe two active tables on a Saturday night at 6:30. Granted, we were a party of 11, but our one party was 80-90% of the guests at the time.

Pros:
-our waitress was very kind and accommodating when she could be.
-the kitchen was not visible to us. Can only imagine how horrific it might be.
-no one in our group has thrown up or had diarrhea as of yet tonight
-I caught a nice bass yesterday.

Decent food, but pretty pricey for what it is. 2 orders of street tacos, a shrimp and rice plate with a side of beans was $55!! Even for take out!

The staff was very helpful, and I was seated right away. I had two enchiladas, one chicken and one cheese with a double serving of rice since I don't like refried beans, and they were very good. The other items on the menu looked good, too.

I absolutely love the rice and cheese and the guacamole. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for good Mexican food

The most bland , unimpressive , Mexican food that I have ever eaten. Even Taco Bell has better taste and value than this restaurant . There are much better mexican restaurants in Jasper ,just a little bit more of a drive , better off driving to Jasper , and you won't regret it.

Staff was nice and tried to accommodate. However, if you have any allergy, like with onions, go somewhere else, if you want an adult beverage, go somewhere else, if you want prompt service, go somewhere else.

Nice place to eat but service was slow and unaccountable !we had to wait to long for service and refills on our tea! Kinda pricey for poor service !

Their salsa for the nachos is pretty good.
