Recently, the food hasn't been as good as it had been. It's hasn't been seasoned enough, or the flavor is off. I could tell that our server was new. He kept forgetting things and was slow to give us the check.

Freaking gross. Never gets my order correct. Done with this place. Food sucks too. 0 stars.

This is the first review I have ever made. Our waitress was great. She was all over the place while the other waitress was standing around and talking to the cook. The food took over an hour to come out and was wrong. We ordered tacos and a Supreme Nacho with no tomatoes. It took so long we asked before it came out if we could get in to go boxes so we would not be late for games at school. The cook said no. I asked if it had been plated yet and no it hadn't he had just started cooking. I could understand if it was busy but most tables were leaving when we arrived. Only us and two other tables while we were there. Our waitress was crying due to him being so ugly. He might want to realize you can hear him when he was that loud. The other waitress was busy listening to our waitress and reporting back to cook and making things worse. We got to see that while paying our bill. Our waitress didnt even say anything bad about the cook. All I can say is I would have more help wanted signs up for a cook and waitress. We are not from this area and was this was our first and last time eating here.

We ordered steak fajitas and shared between the two of us. The food was so good and one order fed us both and we brought home left overs.

Had an entire piece of wood in my food. Took almost an hour just to bring the food out. Terrible place.

It’s decent. Do NOT expect a margarita. This is a dry town. Had no idea those still existed. Food was a bit slow coming out considering there was only 1 other table in the entire place. And it’s pricey for what you get.

It’s not a real or traditional Mexican restaurant. They have the absolute basics and that’s it. I guess it’s ok considering there’s hardly anything around.

Got take out for lunch today. Ordered guacamole Mexicano and it was really good, so was the salsa. The chimichanga was TERRIBLE. Didn't seemed to be deep fried, it was raw dough. Won't be back!

Pretty good Mexican food for being in a small town in Alabama. I’m from California so I was spoiled with Mexican food. I enjoyed my lunch

Our recent experience at La Plaza Bonita Mexican restaurant was a bit underwhelming. The food, while not exceptional, had room for improvement. The server, while polite, could have been more engaging. Despite being one of a few patrons, we did notice a few tables with dirty plates, which was a bit disappointing. The small-town charm we had hoped for seemed a bit elusive. Overall, there's potential for improvement, and we hope the next visit exceeds expectations.
