“My boyfriend had been telling me about the Ultimate Grilled Cheese at The Bean Press. This is my first time having it and it is so warm, crunchy, ooey gooey, comforting, and delicious!! I added ham and it was ?. Idk what took me so long but I’m ready to go back! The service was wonderful, the atmosphere is cozy, and the food was incredible. 10/10“

“First time I came here a few weeks ago they were outta cups, I guess business must be good. Sooo it’s really best to bring your own cup. Then take a seat and enjoy the rustic atmosphere and the small town world driving by. “Warning, long review - The best coffee you'll have. As a former barista with my own home setup, I have tried over 20 local coffee shops from everywhere I've visited and will always come back to Mural City. Their knowledge and balance of coffee/roasting is unlike any other store you'll visit. Drinks - From the basic lattes to the most extravagant and unique teas. You can get almost anything you've ever craved in this store. Their pastries are amazing, fresh, and unforgettable. Their espresso is perfect almost every time you order and you can trust that you won't have a bad cup. As for the tea lover, they have a tea wall where you can smell any tea you'd like before you order. Some include cards that show what pairings work well. Rating - 5/5 Roasting - Their espresso is to say simply, wonderful. They roast their beans in house where you can watch as they explain the process of roasting. I personally use their beans for my own espresso setup at home. Their main roast is hard hitting yet not harsh. Paired very well with any milk drink. Rating - 5/5 Customer Service - I will say, customer service isn't always the best but I don't mind as I'm trying to go in, get my coffee, and work. I don't mind they are focusing on their craft rather than trying to butter me up. The most knowledgeable and friendliest barista is Chris. If you have any questions he will happily take time out of his day to explain and educate you on the topic. Rating - 4/5 Atmosphere - From when you walk in, it does not feel like a coffee shop, you feel like you're in a science lab. I love the open concept of the building. The seating is nice in the sense that you have many options for how many people are in your party. They have big, medium, small, and even comfortable sitting. Whether you're there for work or to sit on a sofa by the fire place with your partner, it has it all. They also have an upstairs that can be rented for meetings or parties. Rating - 5/5 Everywhere I visit I try to hit at least 2 local coffee shops. The best rated, most unique, and yet I will always compare my highest standard to Mural City. I'll happily travel 30 minutes to this shop or wherever their coffee truck may be at. If you are in the area I GREATLY recommend you stop by and try this store. A lot of times I have ordered the same coffee at different places and they not taste the same, etc every time I go but when I’ve gone here a few times in the last week I have had the same great flavor, consistency and great customer service!“
