“We had a bad experience when the Madison location opened and when we got one here in Athens my husband and I decided to give it another chance. We are SO glad that we did! “My first time here, went with coworkers. I asked if the chicken sandwich could be grilled, not fried and she said yes, so I ordered it. It came fried. I didn't take it back because I was pressed for time, however, I should have, because I don't eat much fried foods for good reason and never chicken and shouldn't have this time either. (I don't have a gall bladder) So it makes it rough on my stomach. Anyway, the food was great other than that. They were super busy too. (Nice to have it that way)“

“I go to Popeyes pretty regular. Normally they do an amazing job and the food is mostly always on point. The last two times though I've had an issue. The first time was I got red beans and rice for a side, the red beans seemed like they were not done all the way, which is weird cuz I used to work for Popeyes and they come in pre-made you just heat the bag up. In this last time I got a three-piece chicken tenders and one of the tenders was almost completely gristle.....very gross. I will be back, but it will be a while.“
