Overall the food was mediocre. We got the pork chops($25) and while the flavor was good the meat was incredibly dry. It was served with beans and the beans were undercooked. We also got the spaghetti and meatballs($24). It said the sauce was a bolognese sauce but it was just a regular meat sauce. The meat balls were on the tough side and not very flavorful. In my opinion the food wasn't up to par with the price, this was also the lunch menu. The wait staff was very nice and the interior was very beautiful (but also a little cold).

Wonderful service and great food! Ambiance was great for a date night! Cocktails were great- we had the French 75 and an old fashioned. To start, we ordered the shrimp scampi app and the onion and rosemary focaccia. For entrees we had the rigatoni with pork cheek and chicken and the pasta with braised beef. Both were delicious! Our server was fantastic as well!

This was our first time for dinner and it was a great experience. Our server Tina was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I had shrimp scampi and it was cooked to perfection. My husband had the salmon and he said the salmon and sauce was wonderful. It is so nice to have such a fine restaurant in Athens. We will definitely be back. The only negative is it is very loud but it is an old but so that is understandable.
The pasta was delicious, but the oxtails were slightly too tough for our taste. However, the flavor was absolutely amazing.If you were thinking about taking the kids;It’s a bit pricey for a family visit, but more than likely in line for a date ..The floor was slippery ;caution when you go to the restroom.Ordering the spaghetti and meatballs to go was a smart choice - the homemade angel hair pasta was just what my taste buds were craving.

The food was excellent as well as the service. We were seated shortly after arriving & the servering staff filled our water glasses promptly. They gave us plenty of time to view the menu to select our meals. The only drawback is that unfortunately dishes do not come with a side of bread, which in my opinion would be very helpful as the dishes are served in a delicious sauce that is impossible to completely eat with only a fork, otherwise we had zero complaints. We will DEFINITELY be returning. Reservations are a must.
