I've passed this place a hundred times and I'm so glad I stopped in. This is such a great southern breakfast place! Service was amazing, everyone was so friendly, food was a great price, so fresh and filling. I will be bringing my husband back.
Warm friendly greeting followed by prompt service, good coffee, and good down-home cooking. The gravy could use a bit more flavor, perhaps a bit of sausage, but otherwise, everything was top-notch.

I love me a good, local diner, and Washington Street certainly delivers. Amazing eggs and biscuits, lovely wait staff, and pretty good prices. It’s nothing revolutionary, but it doesn’t need to be. Definite recommend for those who happen to find themselves downtown.
