This is definitely a sports bar. We went early to avoid any crowds. However, there was only one server/bar tender and she focused on the regulars near the bar. Once she greeted us she was pleasant. Had to ask for our appetizer when the meals were brought. Sandwiches were good, fries were only luke warm. We may go back as prices were great for the food, but will adjust our arrival time and seat selection.
Mac’s Sports Bar and Steakhouse in Athens might just be my new happy place. Walk in and you’re hit with the smell of sizzling steaks and the sound of people actually enjoying themselves (imagine that!). It’s the kind of spot where you can watch the game, eat like a king, and still feel like you’re hanging out with friends.

First time being here and hands down on the Best steak I've had that actually taste like steak. Service was on point as well. Thank you Mac's for the great food and service. Will be back for sure. 👌 👍 😍
