Food is delicious. This is my new favorite breakfast place in town. There is limited seating, but it is as you would expect in a small restaurant just off the Town Square. We consider it part of the overall ambiance of the diner. The biscuits and gravy with fried bologna and sliced tomatoes are some of my favs.
I love me a good, local diner, and Washington Street certainly delivers. Amazing eggs and biscuits, lovely wait staff, and pretty good prices. It’s nothing revolutionary, but it doesn’t need to be. Definite recommend for those who happen to find themselves downtown.
I've passed this place a hundred times and I'm so glad I stopped in. This is such a great southern breakfast place! Service was amazing, everyone was so friendly, food was a great price, so fresh and filling. I will be bringing my husband back.
