Wow! No better way to end my college career than a full circle moment at Another Broken Egg Cafe. My family and I came here for breakfast when I toured Auburn University as a prospective student some time ago. Just graduated and it only made sense to come back at the end! The food here is flavorful and the service is usually good. The dining area is open and pleasant. My favorite is the Mardi Gras omelet, followed closely by the biscuits and gravy and the Shrimp and grits. Breakfast potatoes tend to be overcooked, and that is based on several visits, not just one. Prices are fairly reasonable, unless you are getting a soft drink or iced tea. $4.29 for a soft drink is ridiculous, even if it does come with free refills. Water is just fine.
