Incredibly rude bartenders at this establishment. Asked for two drinks and needed two IDs. For reference me and my partner are both in our forty’s.

We brought 6 of our closest friends here and had an absolute phenomenal time! We were introduced to a new cocktail menu they just started yesterday and it has SO MANY amazing options. 3/4 of the girls were immediately drawn to the “Liberosis” coconut rum cocktail. Soon after we learned that the sweet girl who was bartending- Hannah- came up with it! Hannah has short brown hair and is 100% enough of a reason for us to come back and give this beautiful place our business. Thank you Hannah for an amazing experience.

Very horrible service. Bartender was a completely rude. If I owned that business I would have her fired. Place may be nice but the bartenders like her not so much. If you’re looking for somebody with a disgusting attitude then this might be your place. I’m a bartender myself and have never experienced anything like this. Can’t recall her name but she had short darker brown hair.

I’m a huge fan of this place. It’s a good place for people to start their night before ramping up to dancing a club or settling down for a calmer more talkative vibe. All of the bartenders are as nice as the drinks they make. Lydia, Hannah, Nathan and Teddy all have been very nice presences in their own diverse ways that lends itself to the great atmosphere. I suggest ordering from their seasonal menus, this pictured drink is the “Sundress” from the upcoming summer menu that was designed by Lydia.

Bartender claiming to be the manager is super rude. Was there Saturday night with my 21 year old daughter who provided a state drivers license and was denied service and was told to get out. We respectfully asked to speak with someone about it and discuss why when we are both providing the same drivers license. She then denied us both and told us to get out, all the while we were surrounded by under age patrons. “Manager” became nasty and purposely tried to embarrass me and my daughter, mind you I’m well over 21 obviously. Manager was purposely denying my daughter just to be nasty and be a mean girl, we both had valid ID’s. Super unprofessional staff.

The staff were so rude!! For people in the service industry they did a poor job at serving.

A phenomenally cozy, tucked away speakeasy-ish bar, with an AWESOME selection of draft beer and cocktails. Great view of the street scene in Auburn, with an equally great soumdtrack. Perhaps best of all...Lydia, Hannah, Darby and Adam behind the bar couldn't have been MORE welcoming or attentive...world-class service! Make sure to stop by Avondale while in Auburn!

Delightful quiet tucked-away cocktail bar with a decent draft list. This is our go-to for special date nights. Great view over downtown. Hours are slightly inconvenient.

Went there last night for an event they had to support CARE Humane Society. The atmosphere is great! The staff and drinks were top notch! Had a great time the previous times we've been there. Would recommend if you are looking for a more laid back atmosphere even when they are busy.

I am a frequent customer at Avondale and Ted the bartender is one the worst bar tenders l've ever encountered. Very rude and terrible customer service. I tried to be considerate and give him grace but I have had 3 bad encounters with him.. I just hope this issue can be resolved. I really do enjoy this place but I would like some decent service.

Ever since Avondale opened up it's one of my go to spots in Auburn when I am back in town. They typically have a good selection of local/regional beers and their cocktails are great too. It's nice that it's centrally located but since it's upstairs you get a little more cozy of a feel. Lots of space for clandestine meetings or just hanging with friends and really good vibes too.
