The food was amazing!!!!! The staff is amazing!!!! The drinks were great.This place is a little pricey. We got the meat board for 6+. It was $270. It came with 2 chicken breast, 2 sausages, 2 small bowls of chorizo, 1 bowl of shredded beef and 1 bowl of rice. We added 2 steaks, 1 tomahawk pork chop, and 1 fish, which was an additional $70. After drinks and tip our tab was $660. It came out to $80 a person.
5 star everything. The owner is a veteran and is always looking for ways to give back to the community. Very good food and service. Please make a point of stopping in. You won't be disappointed.
This restaurant offers lots of extremely delicious dishes with touches from many south American countries. We enjoyed the boards or tables. One was seafood based the other was turf based. They both were excellent and I would highly recommend them!

My husband and I made a reservation for Valentine’s Day which required a $50.00 deposit plus sales tax to book. We were told we’d get the money back if we showed up to our reservation. We went on Valentine’s Day and paid for our full meal. We noticed a few weeks later that we never received our $50 deposit back. My husband called Conquistador’s and was told there was nothing they could do about refunding the deposit. I then proceeded to call for clarification and was told that the night of our reservation an employee should have let us know that we needed to mention to our waitress that we made a reservation so the $50 could be deducted off our food tab. We were never told that. I told the woman I spoke to on the phone that we were never told this by any of the employees when we checked in for our reservation and she said that was a miscommunication on their part but there was nothing they could do. I felt like I was being rushed off the phone the entire time I was talking to her. I don’t get why I can’t be refunded for something they admitted was their fault. Anyone else making a reservation for Valentine’s Day would have had to pay the $50 as well so I don’t understand how this mix up even happened in the first place. Seems like they would have expected most of their dinner guests to have had reservations.

What a lovely spot tucked back off the ugliness of South College! We’ve enjoyed Conquistador for both lunch & dinner and can recommend the skirt steak churrasco and the snapper. Good gluten free options!
The food is of the HIGHEST quality, every single member of their staff I encountered was the most pleasant and attentive of anywhere I've ever been...almost feels like you're not even in Auburn.
