I love a good meat and three. Pannie-George’s is all that and more. I was hoping for some fresh fried chicken but it was going to be a 20-minute wait so I went for the chicken and dumplings instead. Oh so yummy! It did not disappoint.The butterbeans and mashed potatoes were equally tasty. Ditto on the cornbread, which was moist and full of flavor. Awesome chicken! Stopped on trip from Atlanta to FL and so glad we did. Cafeteria style with lots of thoughtful extras, like onions, hot sauce, jalapeño oil, lemons for tea. Great food; friendly service.

Damn, if this wasn't the best soul food I've had. Fried chicken was fantastic. Wife had beef tips, also great. Sides of note: Mac n cheese, collard greens, black eye peas, Cole slaw. I need this in my home town!
