“I love a good meat and three. Pannie-George’s is all that and more. I was hoping for some fresh fried chicken but it was going to be a 20-minute wait so I went for the chicken and dumplings instead. Oh so yummy! It did not disappoint.The butterbeans and mashed potatoes were equally tasty. Ditto on the cornbread, which was moist and full of flavor. Not dry, which is what most places serve.But the very best was dessert, which was peanut butter cake. Perfect blend of moist cake and a sweet but not too sweet icing. I can tell you I’ve never had better. So good I got a piece to go for later. ❤️Add to this the welcoming kindness of every person on staff we encountered. “Just had my first experience and was treated and waited on like a member of the family. excellent food as well as excellent service. probably the best experience I've had all year as far as food goes. Food was hot and delicious. I had the oxtail for the first time, chose this place as my first experience and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend.“
