“There are three restaurants I consider the best soul food in Montgomery, and this is at the top of the list. Every single thing I've eaten there was so delicious; it's food like I haven't had since my grandmother passed. The folks there are lovely. Really, go get some food from them, you will *not* be disappointed.“

“First time eating here. Driving through my Montgomery on our way home. We always like to try local places. This place was delicious! Absolutely loved the ribs. Mac and cheese was excellent. Burger very good as well. Portions were larger than expected. Probably could of ordered 3 meals instead of 5 fory family. Owner and staff absolutely fantastic! Wish loved closer so we could come back. But if we are ever back in Montgomery this is where we will stop“

“I had to come on here to let y’all know the best tasting barbecue at the fair was Potz & Panz. They are my #1 pick. Now I’m sending someone every week to pick up my orders. The meat was falling off the bone yall. It was perfectly smoked with just the right amount of barbecue sauce. All the flavors melted in my mouth. The sides were homemade seasoned with perfection. It awakened my taste buds. They can throw down! I had to let the the other vendors taste their competition. They even said Potz and Panz won. The flavor was one in a million. Not to mention the owner Mrs. Pugh showed so much love to my family and I. The food tasted like love because she is love. Now I’m addicted! I’m glad she’s serving Montgomery. Go support! I don’t know what I would do if I had to wait on the fair to get another taste. Every week the food remains the same quality. Thank you for the good food and southern hospitality! “Pierce's Country Cooking is absolutely fantastic! Every dish we tried was unbelievably delicious, and I wish we could have ordered everything on the menu but we left absolutely stuffed! I had the rib dinner with coleslaw and the most amazing potato salad I've ever tasted. My husband enjoyed the fried fish and chicken plate with sweet potatoes and rice. We also shared the baked chicken, banana pudding, and sweet potato pie. It felt like a true home-cooked meal. If you're in Montgomery, Alabama, this is a must-visit spot!“

The food was so delicious, the kids were going back for more! They also let all the kids play their music and just relax and enjoy our time in the space. “Absolutely wonderful group of folks. They even fried some okra special for my Yankee daughter (I’m from Ala). The food was delicious and they are very generous portions. I will be back. The staff’s laughter makes you happy!

“Delicious and fulfilling soul food! I’ve gone at least three different times and tried several options. I have always enjoyed my food. Sometimes I like specific sides more than others. Collard Greens have a good taste. Butter beans were a little sweet for my liking, but nothing a little hot sauce can’t heal! Candied yams were delicious and not too sweet. The service is good and they have desserts too! We even ordered catering for Thanksgiving. I appreciate the ordering process for catering and everything was handled very professionally. Hope this business continues to thrive!“

“Great southern soul food. Usually I don’t like buffets, but this place is very sanitary. They have gloves for customers to use when getting food and someone is always watching the food. Truly enjoyed my hot fried and baked chicken, collards, fried okra, yams, cornbread, Lima beans and banana pudding. I ate all my heart desired. They had other options as well. Also a full service salad bar. Of course southern sweet tea. You will not be disappointed!“
