“Service was good, efficient, and timely, we were there at lunch time on a Sunday. It was very crowded and we had to wait for a table large enough for our crowd (12). Food was good and served hot. Staff was friendly, kind and smiling, which goes a long way with me. (Attitude)is important.

“I got the Sunday special meatloaf with Mac n Cheese and black eye peas with a large sweet tea. We was on our way home from Memphis. Best decision I made today was turn around on go back 4 miles for this food! Very very good! Perfectly seasoned and cooked plus very large portions 😋 The people who are working there are inviting and hospitable! Definitely a must try if you are in the area! “Sommers Place is my favorite place to eat be it lunch or dinner. The staff there very friendly and attentive. The food is excellent and always taste the same. Ice tea is also good. I took my brother and dad there and they love it also. I give them a 5.“

Other than maybe needing more people up front working, I love it. Will always get the sassy scotty on a croissant with a side of potato soup!“

I wouldn't normally mention the bread and butter but those were top notch too.

“The atmosphere is a little sketchy to be honest but in my 38 years of life I've learned the sketchy looking places always have the best food. I would have gave 5 stars on the service but I asked for the chicken taco salad and I got beef, but I was so ready to eat I didn't Wana wait on them to make a change so I just ate it and it was good too they could have gave more chips and salsa. There definitely was not enough chips to eat with all of that because it was definitely alot which is great so I gave the food 5 stars !! I won't complain to much because I'll eat here again the next I'm in the area. I want to try the loaded baked potatos next. I ate my food up before I could even take a picture 🤦🏽‍♀️“

“The portions here are getting smaller and smaller. It was NOT worth the half filled cups of sides and maybe 6 ounces of meat that we got for $11.99. My meat and okra were cold. The place was dirty with trash all over the floor, the tables were so sticky that our napkins stuck to the table. Also, Do not go here to eat if your group is more than six people! You cant slide tables together so your party can sit together. You can't slide even a chair over to sit at the end of a table. You have to decide how to spilt up and sit at different tables even if it is for ONE single person that wont fit!! Lady told us we couldn't move a chair... that's ok, we wont eat here again.“
