“I’ve gone to La Jolla twice in the past month and had an awesome server, Asher. The food and service have been great both times. On my first visit, the dining room and bar were full, so the host took my number and called me when a table became available. I enjoyed the grilled lamb small plate on that visit. On my second visit, I arrived before 5 pm, so there wasn’t a crowd just yet. I was greeted and seated immediately. I ordered the Cajun salmon and Hoppin John entrée this time. It was delicious. I definitely recommend it!“

“This restaurant is a local go to. Always busy line out the door worth the wait. It's not the cheapest burger, but it's a good burger.One , you would be proud to call your own. The fries are the part that is amazing to me.Always crisp delicious. I generally get the 4 oz combo all the way.Add jalapenos or the Gunter pile. Which is a hamburger steak with gravy over fries.“

“the best steak and ribeye we have ever had. it was the juiciest perfectly cooked steaks. I'm going to spend the rest of my life chasing the high that I got from eating that steak... best anniversary meal ever. The sauce that comes with the deep fried pearl onions is fiery hot but their ranch is fantastic“

“Service was good, efficient, and timely, we were there at lunch time on a Sunday. It was very crowded and we had to wait for a table large enough for our crowd (12). Food was good and served hot. Staff was friendly, kind and smiling, which goes a long way with me. (Attitude)is important.
All in all a pleasant experience.“

“We had our school group stop here on our Civil Rights trip to Montgomery. They were so welcoming to all of us after a long day of touring! The food was so delicious, the kids were going back for more! They also let all the kids play their music and just relax and enjoy our time in the space.
