“My husband and I were visiting from Florida. Being Air Force veterans who were stationed in Saudi Arabia, we are always looking for an authentic schwarma. We had chicken schwarma dinners and the falafel platter. This place is the real deal. Very delicious authentic food- with the taste and smell we were taken back to the Middle East. Falafel was perfect- not dry or crumbly and the hummus was outstanding. Highly recommend!!”

“We celebrated my son’s birthday at Frenchies in Montgomery, and it was our very first visit. The restaurant is absolutely charming—like stepping into a cozy little hole-in-the-wall French café you’d expect to find in France. Because my youngest is autistic and doesn’t do well with crowds, we booked an early reservation. Our server was outstanding—exceptionally patient with my son and all his unique requests. That alone made the evening special. We started with the cheese board, tuna dip, mac & cheese, and escargot. What impressed me most was that our server didn’t rush us—she let us finish the starters before taking our entrée orders. I wish more places did this, since it gives you a chance to gauge how full you are before moving on. The French onion soup was a standout and an absolute must-try—it was among the best I’ve ever had. For entrées, we ordered the Croque Madame, the flounder, and the burger frites. Everything was cooked to order and beyond delicious. We finished with the crème brûlée, which was heavenly. The cost came to about $60 per person, but we ordered a lot since it was a special celebration, and it felt worth every penny. The restaurant is small and very popular—by the time we left, there were lines forming and the outdoor seating was already filling up. My advice: make reservations if you plan to go on a weekend and be adventurous with your choices—the menu is full of gems. We will definitely be returning!”

“Went for dinner a few nights ago at around 8, I had a long day + their salad bar was running thru my mind all day. Placed our order and was then invited by our waiter to go over to the salad bar. It was dark, dismal & closed. My heart sank to the depths of my soul. The waiter apologized for unknowingly advising us to the packed up salad bar, saying he’d bring salads out. Wow, did he bring the salads!! This waiter not only brought out salads, but he created a gorgeous spread of all the sides, veggies, eggs and toppings. I couldn’t believe it, he hit a home run and a grand slam in customer service and for that I recommend Cork & Cleaver! Clearly they take care of their customers!! Exceptional Service! A++”

“My mother ordered a ham from this location and I went to pick it up for Thanksgiving tomorrow customer service was outstanding the employees were so nice and kind there were two lines coming from both sides of the building and they were extremely busy but the employees conducted business extremely well we will definitely be back we have ordered from this location before a few times but it had been a few years ago I must say it was just as I remembered awesome service still remained there was a lady helping assist customers in a professional way inside the building she also did an outstanding job definitely recommend this location”

This has been my go to for Chinese probably since they first opened. I've moved away for several years & come back & was delighted to see they were still in business. In addition to coffee, we ordered the Martha’s Melt, Avocado Toast, and Multi Berry Smoothie. We enjoyed our food and beverage as much as we enjoyed the cafe’s ambiance and vibe. The owner/architect brilliantly found a way to honor the building’s bank roots within a sleek, modern design. I would visit again and again if I am ever in Montgomery. All of the sandwiches and featured breakfasts looked delicious.”

“We have stayed multiple times at the Wind Creek Montgomery Casino and Hotel. We have always been treated very well. First, I would like to give high kudos to Anthony at the front desk. He has always accommodated us as though we were of the utmost importance. Then as we ate dinner at BB Kings, for two nights, we had an outstanding waitress, Zeanita. I have yet to have anything there that wasn’t good. (Nachos, loaded tater tots, pulled pork, fried catfish, and amazing collard greens) I would also like to recognize, Shannon Gibson, Executive Host with the most. He introduced himself to me and recognized and spoke to me many times throughout the casino. I greatly appreciate that. This was an outstanding mini vacation for my husband and I even though we didn’t win anything. Maybe next time. Thanks to everyone!!”

On my first visit, the dining room and bar were full, so the host took my number and called me when a table became available. I enjoyed the grilled lamb small plate on that visit. On my second visit, I arrived before 5 pm, so there wasn’t a crowd just yet. I was greeted and seated immediately. I ordered the Cajun salmon and Hoppin John entrée this time. It was delicious. I chips seem to come from a variety box from someplace like Costco. The atmosphere seems harmless, but it can get crowed quickly. It can take a while after ordering because there is only one grill and one cook, but otherwise I enjoyed my burger. I believe if they upsize the chips, they could get 5 all around.”

“My wife and I went there for lunch. The service was excellent. We had Twice Cooked Pork and the Spicy Shrimp Dry Pot. Both dishes were superb! They were seasoned well, the pork was tender, and the shrimp was not overcooked. When we arrived we were immediately seated, placed our order, and our food was served in just a few minutes. They even brought us a complimentary Gongzhi to try. It was also delicious. This place is kind of hidden away in an old shopping center, but definitely worth checking out! Sorry, but I didn't think to take photos of our food, but we couldn't eat it all.”

“This is my first time eating Mongolian food, so I ordered the stir fry to be safe. It looked delicious, so I couldn't wait to taste it. We got ours to go, so I didn't eat it until I got home. I was glad however, because it was truly very bland. It didn't taste bad at all, it just didn't have much flavor. So when I got home I dressed it up with some of my favorite Asian sauces. The positive is, there was enough food in that container to feed me four times! And I did eat it four times over 3 days.The service was fantastic as well. The couple that was coming out when we were going in, told us how wonderful the food was. I believe it is just not what I'm used to. When we looked at the buffet, it was all raw food, and you would tell them what you wanted. I don't really have an eye for that, so I just ordered off the menu. Everyone seem to be enjoying their food. Like I said, I'm sure it's just me.”

“We celebrated my son’s birthday at Frenchies in Montgomery, and it was our very first visit. The restaurant is absolutely charming—like stepping into a cozy little hole-in-the-wall French café you’d expect to find in France. Because my youngest is autistic and doesn’t do well with crowds, we booked an early reservation. Our server was outstanding—exceptionally patient with my son and all his unique requests. That alone made the evening special. We started with the cheese board, tuna dip, mac & cheese, and escargot. What impressed me most was that our server didn’t rush us—she let us finish the starters before taking our entrée orders. I wish more places did this, since it gives you a chance to gauge how full you are before moving on. The French onion soup was a standout and an absolute must-try—it was among the best I’ve ever had. For entrées, we ordered the Croque Madame, the flounder, and the burger frites. Everything was cooked to order and beyond delicious. We finished with the crème brûlée, which was heavenly. The cost came to about $60 per person, but we ordered a lot since it was a special celebration, and it felt worth every penny. The restaurant is small and very popular—by the time we left, there were lines forming and the outdoor seating was already filling up. My advice: make reservations if you plan to go on a weekend and be adventurous with your choices—the menu is full of gems. We will definitely be returning!”

“Waiting for Family Day at Maxwell Air Force Base we had some down time and what better way to kill time than to have some authentic southern comforting BBQ from one of Bama's best known spots

Everyone went with something different so we had a good samples across the board and it did not miss!

The ribs were larger than expected with a tangy vinegar based sauce that made them delicious flavorful. The smoked sausage was just as good without being too dry. The chicken was juicy and we'll shredded, and the spicy rib wrap was well balanced with the portions that had some heat to the coleslaw due to jalapenos on it

The sides were very good with the beans being the best option. The mac and cheese should have been the hero and while they were cheesy they lacked that favor you'd expected from a BBQ joint. The potato salad was decent, but nothing to write home about. Honestly the fried okra was surprisingly the second best as the sweet coleslaw underperformed

Overall, the meats made the trip worth it, the vibe was amazing as it had that laid back feel and the service was great! They don't sell hard liquor so went with beer, but the selections we limited. I'd still recommend trying them out if you are ever in town. Cool spot that makes you feel like you're in the South!”

The spaghetti and Mac &cheese, and collard greens were left on the line too long. Not by a few minutes either...
Soft drinks machines were not monitored...both machines dispensed water instead of lemonade.

Location is in the heart of a retail district with many choices. This one is one you would want to visit again. Food was good and plentiful. Whether you build your own order or order one off the menu you can't go wrong for a good Mediterranean meal.
The beverage choices are a little unique, but there is something here for everyone.”

“7 Brew has become our family's favorite beverage stop. They are literally popping up everywhere these days. I love everything coffee & espresso. My daughters love the energy drinks & the matcha beverages. My husband has his favorite, Sweet & Salty Iced coffee. There has only been a few times that we have had an employee be rude and absolutely not friendly. It is rare that we get one that's not friendly, but it has happened. I sometimes feel like the music is too loud, especially if you are trying to place your order right under the music speaker. But, I guess the employees need their jams. “I originally discovered Kung Fu Tea in Charlotte and was so happy when I learned that we were getting one here in Montgomery! I love the milk taro tea, made hot. It is nice alternative to coffee, especially now that it is feeling like fall. The atmosphere inside is cute and lively and always clean! “My mom asked me to take her to this place b/c she said she didn’t feel comfortable going by herself. The gas station connected to it, overshadowed the restaurant presence but you can find it if you know what you are looking for. Definitely recommend going in the day if you aren’t familiar with the area. We got the ten piece special (lemon pepper) and ten piece only (chezzi & ghost pepper flavors) six piece one (ghost). Wife like lemon pepper flavor and chezzi is a special blend of seasoning that work well for a wing sauce. The ghost is no joke. The wings themselves may not have been marinated so I think the sauces carry the flavor. With that being said the ghost wings will definitely test your taste buds and make you question your life choices. Great experience and will be back to try spicy bbq and mango habanero!”
