“We go to the Zelda Road First Watch as often as possible, and yesterday was one of the days. The food, staff, and management are all exceptional. May have to wait a bit before being seated, but oh, so worth it! Just bring one to Prattville so we can frequent more than once a week.“

From the jump, the hospitality was unmatched. We arrived late, and instead of being rushed or turned away, Mr. Gregg welcomed us in, took his time, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a real experience. That alone speaks volumes.

The food? Outstanding. The salmon croquettes were the star of the show—perfectly done, full of flavor, and worth every bit of the hype. Portions were generous, and everything tasted like it was made with care, not convenience.

“I live out of state, and every time we come to Montgomery our first stop from the airport and last stop before we leave is BARBARA GAIL'S!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!!! The shrimp & grits are a must !! They now except credit and debit. And as an added bonus, the street they are located on is part of the historic route from The March From Selma. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. , Rev. Jesse Jackson, and civil rights leader John Lewis were among the leaders who participated in the march.“

“The Eastchase location lost my business. I have been going just about every Sunday for the past year. Today was it we got half our order and they kept coming back saying they were behind. Saw many tables getting up and leaving without getting their food or getting part of their food order. Took 15 minutes of standing at the counter to pay and finally to get the attention of the manager who only cared about seating people instead of providing service to customers. His only excuse was they had a lot of problems. It's terrible when the servers walk around apologizing for the wait when the kitchen won't get the food out because the manager is seating more people than can be handled. My wife never did get her meal.“

“This location has consistently cranked out excellent food reasonably fast whenever I have visited it. The servers have been courteous and attentive to my needs. This is tied for best location in Montgomery with the one on S. Bypass & I-65 in my experience. Others in Montgomery have generally been excellent over the years as well.

This morning (0122 CST) Jess was an excellent waitress, despite being overworked. True professional, just like yhe rest that I have envountered. Kenneth James rocked the grill.

Parking: Just off I-65 & Mobile Highway. Easy to find & get where you're going to or from.“

“What do the lonely do at Christmas....? They go to Waffle House and meet an awesome server named Marquise... He kept my coffee hot and I never had to ask for refills. Always had a smile and I got to have an opportunity doing what I love to do, more Outreach to homeless, broken hearted, grieved, bereaved, and all those in my path. “Traveled TX to VA and back. Received EXCELLENT service from Breonna at 5180 Carmichael, Montgomery, AL WH!! Food was hot & delish AND this is the cleanest & most welcoming WH we had this trip. 5 stars definitely!!“

“I enjoyed IHOP being back open but the workers have to get better. I was there with only 3 workers and from the sounds of it night crew called in that day. My waitress was there from 8 am she kept forgetting things we ordered so some of our food got to the table late. Overall she was apologetic and very friendly. I was understanding about it and we enjoyed our food. I also went another time with my husband during the morning and only one staff member that was cooking had a hair net on.“
