“I really enjoy coming here because the vibes feel really welcoming, the drinks are always good, and the bar’s aesthetic is really cool. The fact that they showcase art from artists that are for sell on their walls is so unique to me. David is a really good bartender, honestly , the best one in the state if you ask me. I can tell that he and the owner , Mendel are very knowledgeable on drinks. They are both always so welcoming and nice . I give them a 10/10, 5 stars, whole 9 yards haha“

Common Bond Brewers Brewery • $
424 Bibb St Suite #150, Montgomery

“This is a nice little brewery with a overall good selection brews. The main reason for four stars is a complete lack of a kitchen or any sort of munchies. Although right next door is a very nice pizza place but they can get really busy. This brewery is located in 100+ year old building and they've done a great job of remodeling with indoor (nice bar) and outdoor seating. They have a pretty wide selection and were heavy on the IPAs (5), but lite on the stouts (1) and lots in-between. We had 2 flights of 4 each with our favorites being the Dreamsicle (my wife) and the Crafty Lefty.“

“Had dinner here tonight with my Dad, brother, and nephew. Could not be more pleased with every aspect of our experience here. The kale and avocado salad was fresh and flavorful while not overly dressed. Who really likes kale? Well, I eat it because it’s healthful, but this was also delicious. Two in our party had burgers and loved them. One had pork tacos and loved them. I had sautéed veggies, deliciously spiced sweet potatoes, and perfectly cooked brussels sprouts. Loved all three. Nothing was oily or ruined with butter or salt or overcooked. And people were so friendly from the minute we walked in until we left. Service was attentive, but not obtrusive.I came straight to Montgomery after a week in Charleston and Kiawah eating at some of the best restaurants in the nation, so my standards were set high.I would say this is Charleston quality food, but with a better overall experience because a) it wasn’t jammed packed with obnoxious people from the northeast, b) the food wasn’t overpriced, and c) I didn’t feel like a number! So happy for Montgomery to have such a great restaurant. I will be eating here the next time I’m in town! Hope y’all stay in business forever!Vegetarian options: They have great vegetables and are happy to make tweaks, such as leaving the parmesan off the sprouts, to accommodate. Loved the spiced sweet potatoes.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of dairy free options.“

“This place is a small but good place to eat! It’s really easy to pass when driving by but definitely a place you should stop! My husband and i have been passing this place for years and decided to stop on a Friday night and eat here. It was pretty busy around 7pm. This place has a lot of regulars from what i can tell. The server was on her first day and did pretty good! I started out with a side salad. The onions, and tomatoes were so yummy and fresh. The tomatoes were sweet and the dressings were delicious! My husband got the seafood platter that had a little bit of everything. His favorite were the jumbo shrimp. I got the shrimp platter with fried okra and coleslaw. The Cole slaw was not my favorite but everything else was really good, including their sauces. My husband loves the cocktail sauce and i enjoyed the tartar sauce. For the amount of food and quality of food, it’s definitely worth it! I believe they had an outside deck for people to sit on and possibly live music. We both recommended this place to our family and friends and will be back soon with everyone!“
