Fried chicken was a big hit for my dads birthday! Many said it was the best they've ever had! Highly recommend little donkey ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Fish tacos are to die for
This place is top notch! The service is always exceptional in my opinion. The food arrives quickly and so hot that you need to give it a few minutes to cool(nothing sitting under a heat lamp). I believe our servers name is Ruthann but don’t quote me…lol. Talk about attentive customer service…She is awesome! Based on the reviews, Little Donkey Mexican Restaurant in Montgomery Eastchase offers a great atmosphere and excellent food. The adobada quesadilla and fish tacos from taco Tuesday are recommended, with everything described as fresh and full of flavor. The chicken, collard greens, and Mexican cornbread served on Sundays are a must. Drinks, such as the sparkling margarita, are also great. However, the experience is inconsistent. While some dishes are very spicy, others are not, and there is no way to know which is which. Service can be slow and missing elements like remembering silverware. Some found the food to be an upscale version of Moes but with less seasoning. The restaurant is accommodating to kids with a good kids menu and crayons, but there is no changing table in the bathrooms and the high chair seatbelts were broken. One server named Amanda provided outstanding customer service, being friendly, attentive, and helpful.
