The location and decor are nice. Our server, Heath, was awesome. Knowledgeable and charming, he was the best part of the experience. The farm fresh salad was pretty but the brittle was whole peanuts with a goo around them-not crunchy-and had a very bitter aftertaste. The aged NY strip was cooked well, but was topped with asparagus that must have been accidentally salted by 3 separate people. Ate the salvageable parts (by choice-I try not to send back food).
It wasn't our favorite of available upscale dining in Montgomery. Service was acceptable but you expect a little more at this price point. Menu is limited but usually not a problem howver, one entre on menu is a 30 day aged NY strip but they were substituting a ribeye that night for the same price, $45. My issue with the substitution was that there is no way it was aged 30 days. I suggest other options such as City grill, vintage year or Ravellos
Y’all need to come and see this place. Yes, in all my southern slang. Heath, our server, was awesome. He was welcoming and made us feel welcome, not a visitor. I agreed to all of his suggestions and they were on point. The steak didn’t need any additional anything. The desserts! Help me Jesus! Y’all already know I got the chocolate layer cake.
