Exceptional Service from Pam!
I had the pleasure of being served by Pam during my recent visit to the Cracker Barrel in Montgomery, and I can’t say enough good things about her! From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. Pam was attentive, kind, and incredibly efficient—she anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and made sure everything was just right. I want to recognize our server today. Her name is Janiya (or very close to it). My husband and I were at the Chantilly location mid-morning, and we have never had a server as sweet, friendly & attentive as her. I hope management there knows what an asset she is and that she gets the recognition she deserves. An absolute gem!
Tammy was very nice and the food was good!!

Cracker Barrel receives mixed reviews, with many guests enjoying the food and service. The food is always good, and popular meals include the meatloaf, mashed potatoes, fried okra, hamburger steak with gravy, green beans, and Onion Petals. The strawberry cheesecake stuffed pancakes are absolutely amazing, generously filled and not overly sweet. The biscuits and blackberry jam are also a favorite, though some dislike the new biscuits. The impossible sausage is awful, mooshy, and lacking flavor. Service is often excellent, with waitresses described as amazing, personable, and very observant, keeping glasses full and treating guests like family. However, a long wait for everything can happen when a tour bus arrives, and coffee may arrive full of coffee grounds. The dining room could use a thorough top-to-bottom dusting, as the overall cleanliness feels a bit neglected.
