We visited on a quiet Tuesday afternoon and were originally put off by the fact that nobody else was dining, but I’m SO glad we stayed! The food is absolutely amazing. We had the platter, empanadillas, yucca fries, and rice and beans and it was all delicious. If we’re ever in the area again we will absolutely be back!

We went to Conquistador and got a board for two. The food was very delicious but the portions did not reflect the price. It was 85$ for 4 proteins making each around 20$. We got chicken, trout, chorizo, and shrimp. The chorizo was in a small soufflé dish and there were 6 shrimp. I wouldn’t price those individually as 20$. Other than the pricing the food was tasty. Atmosphere was nice, but the music on a large flatscreen TV was a little distracting and took away from the experience.

This is my second time visiting and won’t be the last. The first time I ordered a shrimp burger and it was sooooooo good I ended up eating half of another one. The bartender also made a pretty tasty side car and the guava cheese cake was delicious!

This time we ordered a board for two with double trout, octopus and shrimp plus Yucca fries, and veggies. The flavors were immaculate! I can’t wait to come again to try other dishes.
