I've always loved Good Ol' Boys and now they are in a new chapter as they change over to an event venue named Fireflies Fields.
The server asked what music we wanted to listen and played it for us. looked like a family run restaurant, the staff were friendly and the food was delicious.
Wonderful food and atmosphere is family friendly.
Great food and great service!
My husband steak was med well he ordered it well his 16 Oz Riley was same size as my 12oz. The server was very nice food was way to high in price
Went one time the food was good didn't wait to long the service was good . The next time the service was good but the food wasn't good and the wait over an hour .
Great food and great service. Joseph was our server he was awesome! Will definitely be back
Gwen and her staff was so nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for great food, service and music. Great wine selection too!
Great decorations and atmosphere but is that what you go to a restaurant for ?? Simply not you go for fresh hot food and fast. Very slow service took us 20 mins to see a waitress after we got seated. Why should we have to ask and beg for a waitress when we are the customer. Maybe the manager could put all that southern hospitality into recruiting more staff members. All the waiters and waitress take the blame when it’s management not providing them with more help. Salad bar needed to be restocked very often with multiple customers sitting around asking for more salad. Food came out 1hr after it was put in and we had a party of 4 on a early Friday night. Steak was well done on one side rare on the other when it was ordered medium. Once we ate our cold food and the checks came they were all screwed up. We got charged for a side we didn’t even get, and also a extra 10$ for a steak that was advertised 18$ they charged us 28$. FIX IT GOOD OL BOYS
Love the updates they have done. Still has that good homey feel but with fun new things like the music stage. Steaks are still phenomenal and cooked beautifully. The sweet potato was thiccc. Like squats for days thicc. And the green beans were perfectly seasoned. Waitress was a doll and made sure we always were well taken care of

I really wanted this to be good. The people were nice, but it was literally the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant. I will say the fried pickles were good and our son liked the play area and music a lot… but our table seemed to be invisible for about 15 minutes after sitting while the service staff went from table to table around us. I had to ask them to take out drink orders/tell them we were there. It ended up taking over two hours to leave and it went down hill the whole time. Wrong drink order, food was over cooked and some food was actually not available after ordering and already waiting for over an hour. The waitress that ended up helping was super nice. But our friend’s check was wrong and they will hopefully be refunded for the overcharge. We ended up spending almost $80 to leave baffled at what we just experienced. Again, super nice people. They oversold and under delivered. I wish them luck and hope the best for them.
Went here to celebrate a family’s birthday last night. The food and service were excellent during our visit. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and even a cute little play area for small children.
Really enjoyed our visit. The catfish, salad bar, okra, and cheese curds were yummy! Can't wait to try the peach cobbler next time! The new owner is so sweet and the atmosphere is relaxed. Great place to unwind on a Friday evening.
We made reservations 24 hours in advance for a birthday dinner in the room with the live music. We were told, when we arrived, that we would have to wait for all 5 of the other families in the waiting room to be sat before we could be sat. Then the owner smuggly offered desert as a consolation. We didn't take her up on the offer because no one in our party was seeking anything free. We expected to be sat at the time we arranged. The first time we ate dinner there they ran out of potatoes....this time they had no filet and sirloin as a dinner choice. Poorly run facility that likes to charge cover fees at the door for certain entertainment but expects the cover along with your dinner....shameful
Extremely overpriced food. Wouldn't mind the price if the quality of food was better. New owners doubled the steak prices. The catfish was edible but barely. Staff were slow and forgetful. Very disappointed.
