Hamilton's On Magnolia is a downtown go-to spot with great food and service, an Auburn staple for over 20 years. It offers a variety of tasty meals such as Catfish, Crawfish, the catch of the day, and the Roast Beef dip sandwich. The restaurant is known for its friendly atmosphere and well-appointed setting, providing excellent service and a fantastic bar experience. Popular drinks include delicious cocktails like the Lucille Ball Martini. The crab cakes and spinach artichoke dip have received high praise, with many finding them outstanding. Despite some noise and loud music at midday, the restaurant maintains a welcoming environment. The lobster bisque is a favorite, though some find it overly cheesy and lukewarm. The menu also features the Mahi Mahi sandwich and steak and potato soup, which are highly recommended. The cheesecake is noted for its amazing crust, while the ribeye is rated 10/10. The wedge salad and Creme Brulee are other popular choices. Although it closes at 2 pm CST, the restaurant is a great place for an upscale dining experience and is often less busy than its other location, making it worth visiting. Many guests appreciate the relaxed vibe and the attentive service, making it a favorite spot to return to.
