Overall, not a bad experience, but also not great. If you are gluten free, you either need to bring your own sauce for your food or just eat white rice and some plain veggies and meat. The restaurant makes all their own sauces and soups, which is very cool, but there is soy sauce in EVERY sauce, salad dressing, and soup. The food here is excellent! The flavors are fresh and delectable. The sushi is made by a real professional. Chandler makes the best sushi in the Auburn/Opelika area. The others put on a tremendous show and make Mikata an evening destination. The atmosphere is beautiful and well appointed. If you haven’t, you need to try it.
