I’ve visited Umami Auburn about five times and have enjoyed the experience each visit. The food is flavorful and well prepared, the atmosphere is modern and comfortable, and the service has always been friendly. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy a good meal with family or friends. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Very authentic cuisine. The sushi is amazing! The Bulgogi came out sizzling, it was so delicious! My son had the teriyaki chicken it was very good. My husband had the chicken Pad Thai, it was very good. Service was fast even though they were a little short staffed. A good amount of food for the price.
As a long time Michelin chef, coming to Auburn was a change of pace for my meals because the food here has been extremely hit or miss. However this Ramen is the best in Auburn, hands down, without a doubt. The sushi was outstanding as well but the ramen was the star of the show. I’m not sure why places here can’t quite nail a good bowl of ramen but Umami has done it and done it well.
