I drive an 18 wheeler. Parked on the shoulder of hwy 14 just past the restaurant. Plenty of room to park (((temporarily))) while I ordered my food.Was a Saturday. Which is significant because they have a limited menu on Saturday. Anything fried or grilled. No yams or other veggies that need preparation. Though, any other day, they have a veggie plate for less than $8.00.Had the fried chicken, fried okra and homemade potato salad. Took time because they make it when you order...
Great little place to stop for lunch. I had c cheese ? burger ? and fries ?. It really hit the spot and was under $10 with a sweet tea. The sweet tea was on the sweet side which I find perfect!! Thanks for running a little restaurant in the middle of nowhere ?
The owner is friendly, the food is good and decently quick, and the specialty punch is excellent. Definitely worth a stop for a bite to eat.
