I drive an 18 wheeler. Parked on the shoulder of hwy 14 just past the restaurant. Plenty of room to park (((temporarily))) while I ordered my food.Was a Saturday. Which is significant because they have a limited menu on Saturday. Anything fried or grilled. No yams or other veggies that need preparation. Though, any other day, they have a veggie plate for less than $8.00.Had the fried chicken, fried okra and homemade potato salad. Took time because they make it when you order...
Great little place to stop for lunch. I had c cheese ? burger ? and fries ?. It really hit the spot and was under $10 with a sweet tea. The sweet tea was on the sweet side which I find perfect!! Thanks for running a little restaurant in the middle of nowhere ?
I stopped by here on my way from the Sunflower Field. The 3 ladies working were very friendly and attentive to me and my guest. I ordered a veggie plate with dressing, Mac and cheese, okra and greens. When I tell you this was some of the best flavored food I’ve ever eaten from a restaurant! I felt tears because my mom, who passed 2 years ago, would have loved to have eaten from here. The greens were the star of my plate. They were fresh and seasoned to perfection. Nothing else...
