We weren't sure what to expect. The food was pretty good. The chicken was well seasoned as were the vegetables. The chicken and dumplings were good and everything appeared to be homemade. We were a little bit uncomfortable with the atmosphere, but we would return.
We were stranded in Bay Minet 5 years ago and ate at Streets every day. We loved it so of course we had to stop for breakfast on our way home from Gulf Shores. Everything was delicious as expected. I tried tomato gravy for the first time and loved it! The biscuits were delicious as well. Our server told us that the cook has been working there since she was 17 and is now 67! Can’t beat that for consistency!
Family of 5 traveling through to Foley. We saw the billboard and decided to stop. We got the buffet and were blown away. The food was FANTASTIC. All my kids are picky eaters and they loved everything they ate. Don't be put off by the rough exterior!!! Value was exceptional. It cost us less than McDonald's, under $50 not including tip. Would be a family favorite if we were locals.
