I love everything about Bob Sykes BBQ, except the hotdogs. I know most don't go to Bob's for hotdogs and it's probably for the best. The hogie roll bun is terrible and the wiener/sausage isn't much better. Some may like it, I didn't. Just my opinion.
Grew up in Helena then moved in 1994 but always tried to make a trip to Bob Sykes every chance I got. Now that I’m a mom I brought my husband and son and they both enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and staff. It’s just as I remember from my childhood and it brought back so many many good memories. Thank you for continuing to remain open so we can come get some of the best BBQ around. Never had a bad meal here and traveled all the way from Panama City Fl. to vacation and get some...
I generally always like the Bbq. Great hamburgers, onion rings and desserts.
Today I went through the drive thru and ordered a Bbq pork plate with baked beans and potato salad. I got home and there’s no Bbq sauce on the pork or any to add to the pork. If this is something you have to ask for to get, please post that somewhere.
