Overpriced, small portions, beef tips were not beef tips, it was roast. Be careful ordering side veggies, my greens were full of meat and very little collard greens. I rate it a one star because the lady was nice.

I had the oxtails at Cloray’s Cafe, and they were absolutely the best I’ve ever had! The meat was tender, flavorful, and fell right off the bone. The seasoning was perfect, and the rich, savory gravy took it to another level. The portion was generous, and every bite felt like a taste of true Southern comfort. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was friendly, making the whole experience even better. If you're looking for authentic, delicious soul food in Bessemer, Cloray’s Cafe is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back for more!

I like the scriptures on the wall. I got grits, eggs bacon and toast and a juice. It cost me $16. I'm not saying the food isn't good but it's definitely not worth $16 buck. She had no jelly for.my toast but I stop by McDonald's and got my jelly. Overall I give it at 7 out 10. The lady inside was sweet though. She was by herself. I saw someone drive up before me but came out with no food. I assume it's because of the price or because you have to wait for her to the food. It took about 15 mins for my wait. Again 7 out of 10. Don't think I'll be back for breakfast. I might comeback one day to try the lunch.

Extremely clean dining. Large portions. Friendly service. Good conversation. I'm happy we found this little gem. My husband and I were passing though and looking for some breakfast. Renee did not disappoint. We'll try to make it back in the fall, hopefully for some BBQ ? ✝️

This was my first time visiting the restaurant. I ordered the chitterlin plate, it was very, very pricey but very good. If I'm on that side of town again I will consider visiting another time, but I would definitely order something different.

Drove here today (Sunday b4 Memorial Day) and they are closed. Update: the response to the reviews are awful. Sounds like the devil cooking at this place.

Food prices a bit higher than other soul food restaurants, ($9.18 for 2 veggies and a piece of bread) but customer service was A1 and fast delivery of food ordered. The food was delicious and I love the fact that it was black owned. Will eat here again.
