I like the scriptures on the wall. I got grits, eggs bacon and toast and a juice. It cost me $16. I'm not saying the food isn't good but it's definitely not worth $16 buck. She had no jelly for.my toast but I stop by McDonald's and got my jelly. Overall I give it at 7 out 10. The lady inside was sweet though. She was by herself. I saw someone drive up before me but came out with no food. I assume it's because of the price or because you have to wait for her to the food. It took about 15 mins for my wait. Again 7 out of 10. Don't think I'll be back for breakfast. I might comeback one day to try the lunch.

Extremely clean dining. Large portions. Friendly service. Good conversation. I'm happy we found this little gem. My husband and I were passing though and looking for some breakfast. Renee did not disappoint. We'll try to make it back in the fall, hopefully for some BBQ ? ✝️

This was my first time visiting the restaurant. I ordered the chitterlin plate, it was very, very pricey but very good. If I'm on that side of town again I will consider visiting another time, but I would definitely order something different.

Drove here today (Sunday b4 Memorial Day) and they are closed. Update: the response to the reviews are awful. Sounds like the devil cooking at this place.
Food prices a bit higher than other soul food restaurants, ($9.18 for 2 veggies and a piece of bread) but customer service was A1 and fast delivery of food ordered. The food was delicious and I love the fact that it was black owned. Will eat here again.
The food is always plentiful. Which is important for me. I don't mind paying if the plate is weighing. Lol. And weigh it does indeed. I always get the oxtail when I go. I haven't been able to find anyone in Birmingham that can mess with her on those oxtails. To say they are finger licking good would be doing them a great disservice. Her service is always friendly. And you won't be disappointed with the flavor or the portions. Fat people know. Trust me.
Vegetarian options: She does have vegetables and starches if you aren't into meat.
Wheelchair accessibility: Does have a ramp to the front door. I don't know how to gauge how accessible it is beyond that.
