Bessemer is a gritty industrial area. Imagine our surprise at finding the best vegan restaurant of our lives there. We shared the mushroom burger and chic'un burrito. Burger and just about everything else homemade. The best we've had anywhere. We had sides of field peas and (baked) sweet potato fries. She does not fry, just bake. Tried this place for the first time and can’t wait to return! When I walked in the door the owner was super sweet and very attentive to each customer that came in. I definitely felt welcomed!! I ended up getting the mushroom burger with sweet potato fries and the Philly chicken wrap with buffalo cauliflower which were both amazing. Sis is in the kitchen putting her heart and soul into this food. Totally exceeded my expectations!!!
