I used to come here craving hibachi regularly, but every recent visit has left me furious and disappointed with botched orders and terrible food quality. My last three hibachi orders were all completely wrong: one time they swapped my steak for rubbery chicken, forgot the fried rice and vegetables that come standard with every hibachi platter, and handed me lukewarm, soggy noodles instead. The chef rushed through cooking without proper seasoning, all the meats tasted bland and greasy, and the veggies were undercooked and flavorless. I reached out to staff multiple times to fix the messed-up meals, yet they brushed off my complaints without offering replacements, refunds or any sincere apology. No matter what hibachi protein I pick—shrimp, steak or chicken—the cooking quality stays consistently awful now. I can’t trust them to get even a basic order right anymore, and I won’t spend another dollar on their overpriced, poorly prepared hibachi. Save yourself the hassle and pick any other teppanyaki spot nearby instead.

used to serve incredible meals years ago, but its quality has plummeted so badly that I’ll never step foot here again. I ordered a medium-well filet mignon, yet the whole cut turned an unappetizing dull grey all the way through, tough and flavorless. It clearly isn’t genuine tender filet meat—they must be substituting cheap inferior beef. The accompanying lobster tail was drastically overcooked, rubbery and dry with no natural sweetness left. The side rice has been consistently gummy and completely bland every recent visit, lacking any seasoning at all. After multiple disappointing trips hoping they’d fix their kitchen standards, I’ve lost all hope of them returning to their former great quality. I wouldn’t recommend their steak or seafood combo to anyone at this point.

Always a wonderful experience here. Food was fresh and delicious staff are absolutely amazing and friendly. Tea glass was never empty and the bento box was absolutely perfect.

A little jewel we didn't know existed here in Bessemer. The sushi is made in front of you. Got the special of the restaurant, Masa roll, I think. We got the ramen soup also with pork bbq. Didn't disappoint. And the vegetables tempura was fresh and pretty. 😊We will be back.

What a great little spot! We decided to eat here on a whim and what a great choice that was. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and served promptly. Would definitely recommend and we’ll be returning.

This place was soo amazing years ago. I will not return. Medium well filet should not look like this (greyish color). Not sure what steak they are using but it's not filet mignon. The lobster is overcooked. The rice has no flavor and is gummy the last few times we have tried. I give up on the hopes that they will return to when the food was amazing. Anywho just my opinion.

Literally the kindest woman I know and the only person I will get my sushi from. She memorized my customized sushi order by the 3rd visit and even get it a name so my family can order their own and stop stealing mine lol. She called it black angel. Enjoy 🍣🥢
