Drove 30 minutes to pick up a discounted meal ordered through a social app. Arrived at the start of the pickup window, but the place wasn’t clearly marked—just a sign that said “GRADE A Cafe & Lounge ”—and the door was locked with a note saying “Sorry we missed you.” I knocked and was greeted by a kind mother/daughter team who gave me my food. The vegetarian grits were good but a bit small. Probably won’t return, but might give them a second chance.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was very clean. The staff especially the young lady who took my order was very friendly. It was my first time trying vegan fish(fried eggplant). When I tell you it was delicious and the homemade vegan tartar sauce was delicious. My family ordered pancakes and sausage patties. The meal was delicious great flavor and lovely presentation. The next time we visit Birmingham we will surely dine here again!

Solcial Veg was such a pleasant experience. I came here with my friend from out of town and this restaurant did not disappoint. The brunch was out of this world, and for a great price. I loved the hibiscus tea and my friend said the spinach dip was the best she’s ever had. This place is extremely slept on, I’m going to start recommending this place often.

We were traveling through Alabama and needed some good vegan food—Google led us to an absolute hidden gem! Seriously hidden, but so worth the hunt! The flavors were incredible, the portions were generous, and the staff was super friendly. It’s not always easy finding great vegan options on the road, but this place delivered big time. If you’re in the area, don’t miss it! And toddler approved, which is always great!🌱✨

As I searched for a distinctive gift for my brother-in-law this Christmas, I reached out to a group for vegan dish suggestions and received a prompt response from Fatimah Shabazz. She prepared six meals to last the week, and my brother-in-law appreciated the gesture. It proved to be an exceptional gift! I appreciate everything, Fatimah. While I didn't take a picture, the meals were outstanding, well-prepared, and clearly labeled. ❤️

I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and the Philly and both were simply delicious! I’m not vegan (yet) but I truly enjoyed my food and wouldn’t have been able to tell that I was eating plant-based meat and cheeses! I also visited their location for their Sunday Brunch with my bae. We ordered the lasagna rolls, and the chik’n & waffles. Both were a 10/10. I’m looking forward to brunching there at least once a month. You don’t have to be vegan to enjoy great food, and that’s exactly what you get here, along with great customer service with a smile. Try them out!

Finally tried the Sunday brunch and it was soooo gooood!! We had lasagna, a jackfruit quesadilla, & a breakfast bowl. Everything was fresh & delicious! My non-vegan family loved the food too and we all left full! We also had ginger lemonade & hibiscus tea which were so good I’m wanting to go back & get them in gallons.
