Leaving negative reviews is never my preference, but in this case, it’s necessary to address the experience I had. I attended a beautiful wedding ceremony last Saturday at a venue in Hoover, AL. The ceremony started off gracefully, with everything flowing elegantly—until it was disrupted by the catering staff. Their loud cackling, laughing, and casual conversations were so unprofessional and disruptive that a family member had to leave the ceremony to ask them to lower their voices. It was a distraction during what should have been a sacred and joyous moment.
Fast forward to the wedding reception, which was beautifully decorated and initially promising. Each guest’s dinner plate was placed inside a charger, and we were instructed to take our plate to the serving station when our table was called. However, the catering team’s lack of organization quickly became apparent. Plates were mishandled and swapped, creating a highly unsanitary situation. The plate I handed to the server was not the one I received back, and this left me very uneasy about eating my food.
When it came to the meal itself, the quality was deeply disappointing. My plate included green beans, mashed potatoes, chicken breast, and a roll. While the mashed potatoes were tasty, they were served cold. The green beans tasted straight out of the can, with no indication that they’d been rinsed properly before seasoning. The chicken was tough, undercooked, and cold, to the point that my fork broke when I tried to cut it. The rolls were shiny, overly hard, and covered in excessive parsley, making them nearly inedible. Overall, the meal felt rushed, poorly executed, and far below any acceptable standard for an event of this caliber.
Despite my dissatisfaction, I didn’t make a scene or openly complain because the day was not about me—it was about celebrating the love and union of the Woods. However, the lack of professionalism and quality from the catering team truly diminished what should have been a flawless occasion. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback so that others do not have to experience the same disappointment.

I attended this wedding over the weekend and this is the worst catering service ever. The gravy on my beeftips was cold and chunky, the meat was also tough extended chewing. Very disrespectful and disappointing staff, they showed no respect during the wedding vows I would highly not recommend.

The staff was VERY unprofessional and loud during my daughter’s ceremony to the point where we had to stop and ask them to quiet down. The chicken was cold,mashed potatoes hard and cold, the beef tips were shredded and salty. Truly disgusted that my daughters special day turned out like it did due to the catering company

Look, I am not a connoisseur of all things delicious but I can cook a little bit. I also do know a beautiful thing and I do know when a thing is good. No one needs to hit me in the face for me to know a good thing. When I tell you the shrimp and grits are mind-blowing, I mean that. They were creamy, spicy, and cooked to perfection. They weren't fishy or overbearing and all the flavor notes were right where they needed to be. The chicken and waffles complemented each other very well. The waffles were soft on the inside and crisp on the outside. I was impressed. The only thing I will mention ever so lightly is that the Mimosas were on the sour side due to the oj. I also must mention that the owner is straight-up beautiful. He was very respectful and his customer service was impeccable. 10 stars darling. 10 stars.

I ordered a holiday fried turkey, corn muffins, and giblet gravy for Thanksgiving. It was all delicious! The lady on the phone was very helpful and friendly as well. We’re still eating the corn muffins and enjoying them as part of our post-Thanksgiving snack. Awesome job, guys.
I had a Chicken Philly cheese sandwich and fries from this company’s food truck at Railroad park Magic City concert. This food was delicious, amazing and incredibly good. The customer service was A+. They were well prepared for this event. Please keep up the great work????

I attended an event this evening where we were table #16. The food service line was already out of forks. We were given spoons. The young lady who issued the spoons didn't seem to care.

Food was hot, seasoned well &fresh! The staff was very cordial & professional. The venue was perfect.Had a d.j. & 360 degree photography & a wet bar. We MAXED it out!!!
