The food was great but sadly they didn't have any of the top shelf alcohol listed on the menu giving the benefit of the doubt that maybe no shipment but literally no patron, no tres generalies, no Don Julio there top shelf was Jose and that's definitely not top shelf when it comes to tequila but again great food
Before I found 5 Amigos, I was driving 25-miles to my favorite Mexican Restaurant. Now, I've got a "new" favorite restaurant only 4-miles away. First, the chips are light and fresh. Second, the salsa had just the right amount of spice. Third, the Margarita was perfect. One medium Margarita "shared" was all we needed. Good ole nasty Mexican. I say nasty with the utmost respect. The chicken yucatecas appetizer is what I get for dinner. It is basically a chicken quesadilla but it with the pico de gallo is fantastic. I am not a fan of the atmosphere or service but the food is generally very good. Make sure to ask for a cold mug EACH time you order a beer or you are drinking from the same warm glass. Frustrating.
