We are frequent fliers at 5 Pts because we love the food and drinks. Service is usually great too, save for a couple of times when we had a bartender (we usually sit at the bar) who was pretty apathetic towards us. But this time we had an excellent bartender who was engaging and knew how to make drinks. The food was very good as usual, and we will certainly be back soon.
We came here with a group of 8. Clarence was our server. He did a very good job. Lots of different beers on tap. Wine list needs some help, and the lemon drop martini was not even drinkable (sour, watered down, gross). Appetizers we tried: spring rolls (spicy! and delicious), Parmesan fries (excellent), oysters (excellent), house made chips (good), cheese curds (good). Everyone raved over their entrees (especially the steak pasta). Margherita flatbread was mediocre, and the shrimp pasta was a 2/5. Panko shrimp on top were good, but the ingredients in the pasta dish were haphazard and there was one overwhelming spice that was just gross (thyme? Don’t know, but multiple people tried it and thought dish was bad). The table had 3 different desserts (bread pudding, cheesecake, and peanut butter hand pies). The bread pudding was decent, but the cheesecake was FABULOUS. Literally one of the best, most creamy cheesecakes I have ever been delighted to try. I would definitely go back, if for the cheesecake alone. Service good, prices fair, atmosphere fun: would recommend.
Had Oysters, fish and Chips, several different beer and cocktail options. The food was good but not great. The $12 signature drink was served in a lowball glass with approximately 5 Oz of liquid. Wine was $9 per glass for $7 per bottle wine. The drinks were okay. Service was great. Overall I don't think I will return due to the value/quality for the money.
This place deserves more stars and more POSITIVE recognition they made me feel at home and also helped me through my phobia of “trying new stuff”. I had the Pork Ossobuco; The grits were of great consistency and seasoned well the pork shoulder FELL OFF THE BONE just like they said so it was tender and cooked to perfection, they have spicy margaritas on the menu with pineapple but since I have an allergy they were able to substitute it for a strawberry margarita!! Everything was great LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
Great space and great food. Got dinner here before a show at Zydeco. Very happy with the experience. Staff was friendly and attentive without being pushy.
The food was great, our service originally wasn't the best (3/5).. but the hostess Krynn was so attentive without us even saying anything and she was a great server and very kind! Honestly, made the whole experience worthwhile and checked on us several times. For any GM or owner reading this Krynn ensured all guests were taken care of tonight (my girlfriend and I saw her darting all around the restaurant working her butt off lol). I feel she would make a great manager. The oysters were amazing and the drinks were excellent as well! Overall, would definitely come back.
My husband and I wanted to find an oyster bar while out for our honeymoon and 5 point didn’t disappoint.I’m not the biggest wine drinker, but my husband put in our reservation notes that we’d like to start out with a sweet wine. As soon as we sat down and was greeted by our waitress and waiter in training gave me a sangria to try (which was delicious and we ended up ordering 3 glasses). They were so so wonderful. Both very kind, informative and gave us the perfect amount of space during our dining. We would love to come back and try so much more! ❤️
Delicious oysters almost as good as the French one, amazing shrimps and outstanding cheesecake !!!
Probably the slowest and worst service I’ve received in a while. Appetizers were not brought out. The martini was the tiniest martini glass I’ve ever seen. Our waiter spilled half of it also. He was like do you want me to get them to make another? Duhh. This was after waiting 20 mins just for drinks. They also ran out of my order entree after order. Service took forger. No thanks.
First visit. I had an excellent fish Reuben sandwich. My wife had a great burger. I was a little bit disappointed with the cheese curds appetizer. Mozzarella bites are not fried cheese curds. Overall, a good meal.

Food and service was great made reservations at 830 seated right away. Ordered the fish and chips a soul roll. Everything was great!
Fun place with good cocktails and food. The service was spot on! We went on a busy evening and they still took very good care of our large group.
Everything was amazing! Fun, comfortable atmosphere but still upscale. Our waiter was fantastic. The oysters were great and I loved the fish and chips. Large drink selection with lots of cool cocktails.
Great food!
Great food, the "Wild mushroom truffle beef pasta" is awesome, a little bread would help to finish every last drop of the creamy sauce. My wife loved the shrimp and grits. Our waiter, Patrick, was so nice and willing to put up with a demanding table. Great place.
