I called the restaurant and Ms. Audrey answered the telephone. I explained that I was visiting from Atlanta and the restaurant that I was going to eat at was closed. Someone in Hoover told me about her restaurant and I was calling to make sure they were open. We got to the restaurant and the atmosphere was pretty cool and we had the restaurant to ourselves. The food was freshly cooked and it was delicious 😋. Ms. Audrey was so nice and welcoming, plus to told us to come back...
Fantastic menu, hospitable service and delicious food. Audrey's was on my list to try for almost a year and I finally made it there. The decor is inviting and the people are as warm as a visit to my favorite Auntie's house. Can't wait to try more of the menu during my next visit.
Searching for Black Owned restaurants and happened upon this diamond. My 3 year old granddaughter and I ordered Shrimp & Grits, Cajun corn and sweet potatoes souffle. Hands down, the shrimp and grits were the best I've ever eaten. The Cajun corn was spicy and good. The sweet potato souffle was better than any dessert I could have ordered.
I Will definitely be coming back and telling others.
Side note: I would enjoy hearing gospel or jazz while dinning...music...
