Yes the food is Amazing! Came from Detroit & Huntsville for my nephew football game !! I’m happy they advertised this establishment. The potato salad so darn good the sauce the ribs the burger yams . We enjoyed the food . Thank you will be back!

The lady who was working the front of the house was rude. I had ordered one plate, then got to the window and added another. She gave me attitude and told me that I couldn't do that and that I needed to drive around. I pointed out that I was the only one in the drive thru. Then she said, what is your other order. Once I got home my son started eating the chicken, he's 8 BTW, said mom this doesn't taste right and instantly got sick. I had the most over cooked and smallest pork chop for $17 which was not worth it. I then took it back for a refund.
Response to owners Response: There was no one in the inside or the drive thru when I tried to add to my order. I was trying to get the cashiers attention for a while but was then ignored and that's when the gentleman came to the window and sent the lady over to take my order. I understand the order process but it doesn't call for anyone being rude. As far as replacing the order, my son wanted chicken, I wouldn't want to replace spoiled chicken for more spoiled chicken. The 1 pork chop was VERY small and over cooked. But I didn't request a refund for that because my dog ate the pork chop. I only wanted a refund for the spoiled chicken.

I really try to patronize black owned businesses but BBQSams across from Princeton Hospital get a bad review from me.
Yesterday I stopped got a bbq chicken quarter came home it tasted old. Called to report this, was told to come back and they will take care of it.
Went back today before going to volunteer, got 5 wings on them, they were good. I decided to go back after volunteering.
Called to place my order to be picked up. One person answered the phone, put me on hold.
After 12 minutes holding another person came on, put me on hold again.
After 15 minutes I was in the parking lot. Still no order placed or taken.
Got inside the restaurant, very polite but mad about being on hold so long.
Hot ten piece smoked bbq chicken drumettes and flats. I was charged $21.99. Granted i only got chicken no sides. This was not the price on the memu. 🤷🏽♀️
All i was told sorry we were busy. I did have somewhere to be at 5:30. I left at 5:36.
Then when i got home, the chicken again tasted old.
I will not be returning to BBQ Sams, my experience was not good. Unhappy customer. There is no excuse for poor service. #bbqsams

Ribs was spoiled and old tasting had spent $30+ and my family was sick behind it....very uncomfortable feeling dealing with that place
The spot is a vibe. The people are super sweet if bored, but again, they're kind. That said, the ribs and mac were ok. The loaded potatoes were DRY. I'm a spud girlie, and I was MAJORLY disappointed. That said, if I want to kick it with strong drinks and great convo, this is a nice place.

This was my first visit to BBQ Sam's by Princeton Hospital. I will not go back. First of all I went through the drive-thru because I was on my way to work. When I pulled up to order my food I was told to wait a minute. When she asked what I wanted to order I said a BBQ chicken potato. Then she had to see if they were ready. She came back and said ok. When I drove around it was 1 car in front of me. I waited at least 15 mins before I got to the window. I paid for my order, got my food and left. When I got to work and opened my food I saw a very dry looking and cold potato with onions and bell peppers and a very watery sauce. The potato was half done, the chicken had a funny taste and the sauce tasted like sneaky pete's hot dogs sauce. I paid $14 and some change for something I could not eat. I tried to call and complain but no one answered and I was at work and could not keep calling. I love BBQ potatoes but this was the worst one I have ever had.

This is my 2nd visit to BBQ Sam's. This place is very clean and excellent for dining in or outside on the patio giving you that backyard comfort. I ordered BBQ Ribs that was hot and fall off the bone tender like it came straight off the grill like down home cooking with the Best BBQ sauce I have ever tasted. The manager and employees went "Above and Beyond" to make me feel so special like family with their smiles and greetings. I highly recommend BBQ Sam's BHAM , a place that not only serves you the "Best BBQ Ribs & Soul Food in Birmingham" at a reasonable price, but gives you a Down-Home Spiritual and Soulful experience that you can appreciate and never forget. Today I had the pleasure of going to BBQ Sam’s BHAM I was greeted by the wonderful owner Eric. They've been open for 2 years and serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and offer soulfood SUNDAY ❤️ Now the foooooood....omggggg, these ribs and leg quarters were AMAZINGGGGG!! Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection The sides were ate on 0.5secs (enough said lol) O yea....THEY HAVE A BAR and OUTSIDE DINING!!! Eric, thank you so much for your wonderful customer service today. I know your father Mr.Sam is extremely proud of you!!

went and got a hamburger and bake beans from there Sunday 7/7/24 and it was the worst burger I have had in my 37 years of life... The burger tasted a week old and I couldn't even finish it gave it to my dog just so I didn't feel like I wasted my money.... I don't recommend getting the hamburger from there at all bake beans were good
