Service was average, food was average. Dos Tequilas in Chelsea far superior. No better than Habaneros.

One of our favorite places to eat! Delicious and authentic food. Great service and kind staff!

We were pleasantly surprised to find this jewel on hwy 280. The menu had wonderful selections of authentic dishes and the Mahi tacos were so delicious. My husband really enjoyed the shrimp tacos as well. Great margaritas didn't hurt either. Wish we had found this place sooner. Sad they will be moving to Anniston but will enjoy our next visit for sure.

Besitos is the best Mexican restaurant in Birmingham, no competition. We eat here almost once a week. Many of their recipes are family recipes. The flank steak is my favorite- its tender and flavorful. There is a spicy sauce that comes with the street tacos that is so so cute (very spicy). Margaritas are smooth and sour. What can I say, everything is great.

True authentic Mexican food. This restaurant is amazing from the food, atmosphere and the employees. Being from Texas we know our Mexican food and Alabama lacks in that category. I highly recommend BesitosChimichangaEmpanadasSteak TacosTaco Plates

Food is fresh has the home feel to the restaurant.we came in got a booth. Ambiance is fine.My wife had the Lunch Quesadilla and I had the Lunch Burrito. Oh my goodness different flavors so good They must make their own shells, they have a different texture. See Jesus he was our waiter, he checks on you and makes sure everything is good

Absolutely love this place! Everything is great, from atmosphere, service & food. You've got to have a serving of the Esquite (street corn). Sooo good! I usually go for the Al pastor street tacos, but they were out of Al pastor this particular night, so I ordered Carnitas Sopes (also pork). Wow! Might just be my new favorite item on the menu!

We made a very large takeout order this past Friday for 10 people, and half of us unfortunately got food poisoning for the next two days! We traced it to be likely from the shredded chicken. Food quality was okay as reported across our group. The service in person was good and it took about 30min as estimated for the take out order to be ready. However, ordering over the phone was really difficult as both employees could hardly hear through the phone and the background noise was very high. When we called on Saturday to let them know that we had for poisoning from some of the food the night before, they were shockingly rude and dismissive to our call and said nobody had called in food poisoning yet that day.We won't be returning, there are many other great Mexican restaurants around. The building was nice but had very limited seating, and the location around Lee Branch is good.

First time. We were in from out of town and we are moving there. My wife had a shrimp quesadilla and I had a chile relleno. Both were spectacular. We will be back.

Went here about two weeks ago with my mom. And when I say, it's the best Mexican restaurant on 280. I truly mean it!!! We will be going back. The chips and salsa are so good!! And service was amazing!

Really nice people, good vibes. You get a lot of food for your money. Chips are my favorite in town, light & crispy. Beans are unique and excellent. Big menu, lots of good options. Good location, I'll be going back.

Look no further! We tried out a few places, but this has become our go to for good Mexican food. Delicious, creative menu with high quality, flavorful ingredients. The chef/owner is always around and the employees are very kind. We like to get there right as it’s opening, since there aren’t many tables. Tried quite a few things on the menu and everything has been delicious. Their fresh fruit juices are tasty too (watermelon, pineapple/cucumber, etc.).

The taste is very close to the TexMex we get back home in Texas but there is an issue there. Second time we met friends there and second time one or two of us get upset tummies within 12 hours. This time it was significant. I had the chicken veggie soup, chicken quesadilla and rice and beans. Hubby had a dinner with sausage. We eat out about 5 to 8 times a month and this is only time we have experienced this in Birmingham area as well as travel out of state in years. Two out of two visits seems to not be a fluke. The food was delicious, and service is good, so please get staff instruction on food safety. Could be simple as using same knife to cut up raw chicken and the avocados or sausage.
