Blue Sushi Sake Grill

I was really excited to try this restaurant. I had never before tried a vegan tuna, and this one did not disappoint. The lunch special is $17 for two rolls and either a miso soup (request vegan), some pickles, or a side salad. The last time I went, they were out of the plant-based tuna, so the next time I go I think I will call ahead to make sure it's in stock. It's that good!

Stopped in about a week ago. The service, drinks and food were all great.
Sushi was well prepared.
Ran out of Kirin, and no Sapporo, but a mixed drink made up for it.

They offer a variety of different types of rolls, and each time we visit, we enjoy trying a new one. The food is excellent, but it would be nice if they could add more options to the kids' menu. The staff is always friendly and takes great care of us. Overall, my family has a wonderful time on Sundays.

One of my newfound favorite spots to go to for sushi and to have a chill vibe the atmosphere is great. The service is always amazing . The coconut crab soup is my favorite. sushi is also really good & refreshing. The drinks are bomb. 10/10 highly recommended

Went on a date after I came out there for a work call and seen how nice the interior was and I was thoroughly impressed with the food and service the San Marcos maki was spicy but it was by far the best sushi I ever had

Horrid wait times. If you made ReSeRvAtIoNs you get special treatment. Don't bother walking in to eat, your wait time will be worse than being at a VA hospital. Either eat during the weekday when most everyone is at work or watch paint dry and grass grow. Unreal.

I just got done eating at this restaurant and wanted to leave an honest review. My wife and two children ordered 1 bento box, miso soup, lettuce wraps, and 3 orders of sushi. Someone other than our server ran the food to our table, but my sushi never showed up. I got to spend the next 15 minutes watching my wife and two kids eat their lunch in front of me. I’ve never been to restaurant that didn’t bring all the food out at once. Our server happily stopped by to ask how everything was, and I politely mentioned that I hadn’t received my sushi yet, but before I could finish my sentence she cut me off and said yes your sushi will be out any minute. I continued to wait and finally got to eat after everyone else was already done. The sushi was pretty good, but not any better than others I’ve had. The total with tip was $117 for lunch for a family of four and nothing to take home.
***I’ll never eat at this restaurant again. Horrible service***

Solid good. Trying HARD not to review it through the lens of having lived in Japan for 19 years straight. Food is good. Menu varied. Prices reasonable. Location stellar. Atmosphere vibrant, upbeat, very novelty Japanese-y. Spacious but even when full doesn't seem crowded. Server was attentive, friendly, and can school you in the sushi lingo if necessary. My only criticisms are that my maguro sashimi looked sloppy both in cut and plating (see last pic)--when it is deserving of much more from a purist's standpoint... and that my sticky rice was smooshed into the bowl. If you have high expectations you will still enjoy here even with its attention to detail wiggle room. I would return.

Came to visit family & was not only blessed enough to dine here but to also have Satore as our server. She was the highlight of an absolutel world class experience. She is the pinnacle of service. Kudos to the establishment & staff as a whole.

Some of the best sushi we have had! Great experience both times I've been. Cloud 9 2.0, Tidal Wave and the Brussel sprouts appetizer are must haves!
