Brick & Tin in Birmingham strikes a pleasing balance between casual charm and conscientious cuisine. From the start, you sense its farm-to-table ethos: the menu emphasizes locally sourced ingredients and humane, additive-free meats.

One of the highlights is how flexible they are: soups, paninis, salads, small plates, and full entrées provide enough variety to satisfy both light-lunch seekers and diners craving something more substantial. Their brisket panini draws particular praise—tender meat, caramelized onions, and a well-balanced sauce—while seasonal soups (especially the butternut squash) are often lauded for their comforting warmth and depth.

Walk up service that they serve at your table. So if you’re expecting full table service, not for you. Quick service with great food. Don’t forget to stop by bakery on your way out for cookies or bread. Only thing I would change is the chairs.

Located in downtown Birmingham this place has super fresh sandwiches and salads. I got their turkey club and a classic salad and it was right on the money

Great lunch spot in downtown Birmingham.

I what’s getting my haircut and had some time to grab a quick lunch. This was the perfect spot.

I had the brick & tin chicken sandwich. IT WAS SO GOOD. It had their homemade pickles and homemade honey mustard on a delicious flat bread. Wow.

Another star on the menu is the pea salad. It is a cold salad of different peas, tomatoes, and cucumbers. So good. I wanted more.

I can’t wait ti go back when I have more time to enjoy other times.

Enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, but my server Daryl completed the experience. If you come here to eat be sure to ask for Daryl to get the absolute best service ever. 10/10 awesome dude with the perfect attitude and service.

Enjoyed the Brisket Panini and the Mushroom soup for lunch! Had the strawberry limeade and it was everything I wanted it to be. The soup was creamy, light, and full of umami taste. The brisket panini paired perfectly for a very satisfying meal overall.

Wow, excellent food, from the mixed greens salad with feta and asparagus to the curry bowl and ham panini - all fabulous! And in downtown Birmingham. Big well done.
