Cajun Steamer Bar & Grill

MY HUSBAND AND I LOVE OUR WAITRESS MAGGIE. SHE WAS EXCELLENT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT. EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT.

Small servings than I anticipated

My waitress McKenna was very pleasant, gave excellent service, excellent recommendation of Redfish Rockefeller and never let my sweet tea get low. Excellent atmosphere as well!!!

Delicious food but doesn't deliver on value. The red beans and rice were the best thing we ate, and the seafood gumbo had a great flavor. The oysters were the smallest that I've ever had, and there was no sausage in the bowl of Chicken and Sausage gumbo. Small portions for the price. Everything was delicious, but we felt like we overpaid for what we got. I would give the food 4 stars if the portions were larger.

It is sad to see this place fall off like it has over the past couple of years.
12/14 we stoped in the bartender was awful at best! We ordered boudin balls that came out still frozen in the center. The oyster made me and my wife both sick. After 20years I must say we will never return. Thanks for the good years and good memories but you are dead to us now

Went to this place for the first time with family and it was terrible. The waitress's attitude was dead and unfriendly after we asked to be moved to another table because 4 people was too much for their small tables and we were moved to a booth thankfully. When we revived our food we got the gator bites and the cheese sticks. The cheese sticks were ok but easy to break into pieces. And the gator bites wasn’t enough in quantity to be $20 we got maybe four good bites and the rest were crumbs…. Then we all got our entrees and they all tasted the same.. just tastes like they put some slap ya mama seasoning on everything and breaded it and fried it there was nothing special about it at all. My mother’s food was overly seasoned to the point to where she couldn’t eat it and it was too spicy for her for that reason. The fries were over seasoned as well. All the food and appetizers were $120 but the food tasted like it was $60 or less. Will never come back to this place ever again. do better (update for five days later) they offered to reach out over this review..I’ve written two emails for contact from any manager and I have no answer whatsoever.. this place will never get my money again and they don’t make anything right like they said they would

I was seated by a host. It was 10 minutes before my waitress came & asked what I would like to start off with. She was very polite and very nice. She checked on my more than often which was a good thing. The food came out 15 minutes after i ordered. I ordered the boiled shrimp which was steamed a lil too long because it was hard to peel the skin off which made the shrimp tear but not too much but I had to eat some with the skin attached. The sauce I got was Cajun butter it was good not spicy just seasoned good. The drinks were really good.

Holy moly!!!
These new sliders are absolutely to DIE for. I know what you’re thinking… sliders from a Cajun place, weird combo. We ordered the bbq pork sliders they were topped with cheese and fried jalapeños. It’s the perfect mix of sweet and spicy. The fried jalapeños gave a little crunch which was great as well. We will definitely be coming back for the sliders and a hurricane, of course!

The restroom was out of order but they were still allowing patrons in. A little while after we ordered a waiter different from our original waiter came and informed us they would be closing because of the restroom situation but he would be getting our order out because original guy went home. Cool...well we get our order it's cold and I don't know what they had thrown together but the catfish pontchatrain looked like slop on top of a miniature piece of fish. Most of my table sent our orders back and didn't reorder of course. I would have preferred them not bring us anything before just throwing stuff together.

Most amazing servers I have had in the last eight years of visiting this restaurant. Mrs Keria was super nice. If you go to this restaurant, please ask for her she is the most friendliest person in the building to me. Thanks Keria we will be back soon. I'm thinking about having our family New years celebration party there.
