Great coffee … but cold and unwelcoming staff. But, did I say the coffee was really good? So, it’s a coffee shop with good coffee. 4 stars

Excellent coffee, staff super friendly. Relaxed atmosphere. I had their house coffee, medium and light roasts, black. Would go again.
came in to try this shop from out of town and it was an 11/10 experience. we had a bigger group and the baristas(austin and the barista making drinks but didn’t get her name!) were personable and efficient in getting drinks out quickly without giving rushed vibes. the drinks were delicious and house made syrups are always our favorite to look for when trying new shops when traveling. would highly recommend this spot!

Always a special treat pre-haircut at Wheelhouse. Their espresso is smooth as silk with a nice toasty bitterness that isn't brackish or burned. Very easygoing atmosphere that is pleasant for a sit and read or popping in for something on the go.

Tucked in at 1826 3rd Ave N, Cala Coffee Downtown is one of those cafés that makes you want to linger. From the moment you walk in, you notice the inviting, warm atmosphere—lots of natural light, thoughtful interior design, and enough seating and outlets that it works just as well for a casual meet-up, solo work session, or just catching up with friends.

Stopped by Cala to do some writing and really enjoyed the atmosphere, friendly service, and great coffee. Perfect spot if you’re walking around downtown and want a cozy place to recharge.
