We got some food to go from Cantina Laredo and it was very good. If you are looking for good Mexican food in the area I would recommend this place.

Great experience hosting wedding rehearsal dinner on rooftop (Birmingham location). Alan was fabulous to work with; very helpful and accessible. The food was wonderful, environment fantastic, and everyone involved was a delight to work with. Definitely recommend!

Enjoyed my experience the last time I ate here.. Please tell me if this place is open yet. I can't get anyone to answer the phone.

This was the worst Mexican food we've ever had. How can I say this concisely? The ceviche was so salty that we couldn't bare to eat it. The second helping that was attempted looked like it was slapped on a dirty plate. It was also inedible.

Came here on a busy Saturday afternoon with hubs! We were seated after a 10 min wait. Both starving so we ordered guac - made to order at the table by a friendly server. It was fresh and just right with the perfect mix of all the ingredients! Hubs ordered the relleno de camarones - ya'll this was savory, nicely presented and all the ingredients complimented each other. The shrimp, corn, rice, Chille relleno, the poblano sauce, roasted red peppers and guacamole is a delicious combination! I ordered the espinaca (veggie enchiladas) - great veggie option! It tasted fresh and light - spinach, mushrooms and sour cream poblano sauce! With a side of rice and black beans! Service was also good with regular check ins and water refills! Also love the lighting that comes into the restaurant on a sunny day!

We are in Birmingham for the Bass Master Classic and tried this for lunch... our waiter, joe, was walking around looking like he had the flu or something!! When I asked if he was alright he moaned and said he wasn’t sure!!! Walking around like he was near death, not to mention handling our dishes. Oh and the food.... mediocre and like another reviewer said... canned beans and the rice was cold. My husband had a really good Margarita!!! I cannot believe that whoever might have been managing would not have sent Joe home.... I tried, I told him to go home!!

The menu is overpriced for the quality of what you get. The items came out fast and everything tasted the same. Too much of the same sauce poured over everything. For the items to come out that fast, you could go to a local mexican restaurant and get the same stuff. Didn't get much attention from the staff, but when they did interact with me they were kind. Place is clean.

I went last night with a group of friends for a birthday and a "ladies night" celebration. Our drinks were good, the food was good, thank you to the bartender and cooks. However, our service was AWFUL. We were rushed through the entire dining experience and when asking for additional items, or service made slick condescending comments. When bringing our checks he just brought them out, not confirming what was going on what check. Then he had the nerve to get mad/frustrated with us, because of a mistake that he made. Of course, I remember his name but I will not place here unless management specifically asks. I just know to ask for another server in the event that I visit the restaurant again.

If you liked canned beans and instant rice go here. I ordered the table side Guacamole and the Avocados were rotten and they still tried to use them. worst ever mexican food!!

Great food! The bartender Audra is above and beyond! Parking is limited on the street. Park in the pay lot behind Mugs. Cantina will validate your ticket and save you $10

So fancy Mexican cuisine prepared yourself to pay for it. Good flavor and excellent costumer service. I wish they serve more pico the gallo.

I really wanted to like Cantina Laredo but my visit yesterday left a lot to be desired. I arrived about 3:30pm to an empty restaurant which is great for getting work done. However, it was so cold inside. I stayed because I fully expected the heat to come on especially with guests present. A gentleman waited on me first and I ordered the table side guacamole. I also ordered a queso dip and the Acapulco dinner combo. After he brought the dip, he disappeared. The queso dip was not good, runny and lukewarm. Finally a young lady came by and said she would be my waitressfor the rest of my visit. After about 40 minutes, I flagged the waitress down to inquire about my meal. My first waiter had not put the order in. In all fairness, my meal was pretty good hence the 3 stars. The waitress was nice as was the hostess just not a good experience.
