You can imagine the potential impact this has on the food itself, and I leave the judgment to you. When hot food comes into direct contact with the plastic and causes it to melt and stick to the food, what health issues could this potentially create for us? I believe it would be much better if a protective liner were placed at the bottom of these containers to prevent this issue and avoid the mixing of plastic material with the food.
On a separate note, the staff at this restaurant are respectful and courteous, but I believe the customer service experience could be improved further. Speaking to customers in a gentler tone and listening to their orders more patiently would make a significant difference. This would be especially helpful for customers who are elderly or not fluent in English. Thank you for your attention to these suggestions.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Captain Dâs, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was met with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
The highlight of my visit was the incredible lady behind the counter. She was so kind and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. She patiently explained the menu, offered great recommendations, and even checked in to see if everything was to my liking. Her friendliness and genuine care made a huge impression on meâitâs rare to find customer service this good!
As for the food, it was absolutely fantastic, as always. The golden, crispy fish was cooked to perfection, the hush puppies were fluffy and flavorful, and the coleslaw was the perfect balance of tangy and sweet. Every bite was fresh, hot, and delicious. Captain Dâs consistently delivers quality meals, and itâs clear they take pride in every dish.
I highly recommend Captain Dâs to anyone who hasnât tried it yet. Whether youâre a fan of seafood or just looking for a great meal served by wonderful people, this is the place to go. I canât wait to return for another great dining experience.

We went in to eat, and we saw others inside eating, but we stood at the counter for 5 minutes and never got waited on. Keep in mind we heard the manager say someone is at the counter we're is our cashier. But they never came.

Staff is hard working, efficient, and friendly. Usually get a grilled meal with okra, which is a premium side. Peak time early Sunday afternoon, there were plenty of walk-ins and drive through clients. Staff may have been one short, as some clients waited 10 minutes to order, but no complaints.
