To whoever is working tonight (10/17/25), I’m really sorry for the hassle. I tried to order a 2-piece and fries combo, which is clearly on the menu, but the employee acted like I was asking for something unusual. Then the manager stepped in to take over the drive-thru, but never completed my order, so I ended up just driving off. Irritated.

I went through the drive thru. Great experience. Lady at window was very nice. Food did not take long. Food was cooked fresh. Not complaints on my end. Everything was great. Great food service atmosphere. Great job. I will be coming back

My okra was all stuck together, hushpuppies were not good, the fish was not hot and I waited for 10 or 15 minutes for food that was not hot

Food was decent... took awhile some items got room temp before we got them. Thankfully they were for kids... who didn't need hot food. Service was decent.

MY FISH WAS RAW AND UN COOKED. Took them 15 min too com too drive thru. This is RIDICULOUS AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.MY FRIES WERE FROZEN , COLESLAW SMELLED SOUR AND MY TARTER SAUCE LOOKED LIKE BUTTER AND WAS OILY AND WASNT KEPT AT THE RIGHT TEMPERATURE THIS IS THE CAPTAIN D’s ON BESSEMER ROAD IN 5 points. Next too POPEYES.VERY DISAPPOINTED AND COULD HAVE BEEN SICK. This is considered SALMONELLA POISON AND CROSS CONTAMINATION. IT WAS 9:20 PM WEDENSDAY MAY 21,2025

I gave them a coupon for fish and shrimp and they did not give me the right order... They didn't even check it

I went thru the drive thru about 410 pm. . The cashier was very friendly. And professional.I understand that the 1st of the month is challenging..the wait was long (15min). Customer in lobby was in an uproar. I ordered 2 of 5.99 meals. Food was hot and smelled delicious. I bit into raw fish and half gone puppies. I tried to call before returning but just didn’t want the hassle of the traffic and wait time .Tired to call but machine was full.

My fish hush puppies and broccoli were hot even though the broccoli had no flavor. The french fries weren’t quite fresh even though the store had just opened up. They were out of coleslaw so I had to get the broccoli instead not my favorite. The service was good. They were in a good mood for having to deal with a leak and they were having to clean up a mess when I first walked in, but they got my order together in a timely fashion is the store isn’t just disrepair and needs of a major makeover, I wish that they would bring back the pumps for the condiment sauces and also the original way that they used to cook the fish 20 something years ago. That was the best. not sure what was going on with the what looked like ant beds in the window though.

Just had the most pleasant experience at this location. The young adults greeted me and gave eye contact. They worked as a team to get my food, and it was hot and fresh. I didn't get the young adults' names it was two female and a male in training. Thank you for your smiles during a sad time in my life.
